Our guide will pick you up at approx. 08:30 hrs at your hotel in South Bali with drive to the north east to Karangasem Regency. First stop is at Kusamba, a local fishing village to see the local people mining salt the traditional way. Next visit Goa Lawah Temple, the bat cave that dates back to the 11th century. Then drive to Tenganan village, one of Bali s most ancient villages that existed before the arrival of Hinduism. The village is famous for its unique textile with intricate motifs. Lunch is at a local restaurant in Candi Dasa. After lunch continue to visit Karangasem Royal Palace (Puri Karangasem) which was built by the 1st King of Karangasem by the end of 19th century. And then drive to Taman Ujung Sukasada, which used to be a resting place, as well as a guesthouse for noble families and foreign official guests of the Karangasem Kingdom. Last stop is the old royal bathing palace of Tirtagangga with its water gardens. Drive back to your hotel. A scenic route through the western shore brings you up to Belimbing before discovering the North Coast and the incomparable beauty of Bedugul mountainous region. Our guide will be at your hotel in South Bali to pick you up at approx. 08:00 hrs. Be ready for a long scenic drive to arrive at the region of Belimbing. Along the way, stop at Pejaten ceramic center to observe the artisans at work. As you arrive in Belimbing, take a stop to enjoy the cool air and views of rice terraces, coffee and cacao plantations. Then drive to Lovina beach via sacred hotsprings of Banjar, which is set in the midst of the jungle in a beautifully landscaped tropical garden with its 37 sulphuric water. Then proceed to The Brahma Ashram Vihara Buddhist monastery. Next, drive up to the magnificent mountainous area of Munduk, accessed through a couple of small villages, and take a short walk to arrive at the waterfall. Continue our descent to the south passing through the beautiful twin lakes view of Buyan and Tamblingan before descending further to arrive back at your hotel. With its dramatic views over the shimmering Indian Ocean, end your day with the chanting of Kecak dancers. Our guide will pick you up at 16:30 hrs at your hotel in South Bali and drive towards Uluwatu Temple, which is one of Bali's nine key directional temples. Admire the beauty and the dramatic view from this temple perched approximately 100 meters above the sea level overlooking the beautiful Indian Ocean. The temple is surrounded by a small forest of Alas Kekeran, inhabited by hundreds of monkeys, who are believed to guard the temple from bad influences. Around 18:00 hrs, it is time to sit at the nearby stage while the sun is setting in the background, to enjoy the Kecak Dance performance. Accompanied by the chanting of around 50 male dancers, this popular Balinese dance tells the mythical love story of Rama and Shinta, though elaborate costumes, hypnotic chants and a fiery finale.
