The town of Ubud, in the uplands of Bali is known as the cultural and healing capital of the island of Gods. Ubud comes from the Balinese word Obad, meaning Medicine, and has long been known as a mystical place, rich in healing powers. Ubud has become a pilgrimage healing place since it was founded in the 8th century by a Buddhist priest. Royal families from across the island sent their ill to Ubud to be healed, and the tradition continues today with people from all over the world arriving in hope of curing what ails them. Ubud will be our entrance doorway into the heart of Balinese culture and spirituality. We will stay at the legendary hotel Thjampuhan and Spa, a tribute to Ubud s artistic heritage and the spirit of Balinese hospitality. An exquisite blend of comfort, art and nature, the perfect place to nurture us during our journey. Welcome Dinner included. 17 SEP MORNING YOGA + LEISURE DAY+ INTRO TALK This will be a nurturing day to rest and relax at our luxury wellness resort. Take your time to fully arrive in Bali: sleep deeply, relax by the swimming pool, practice yoga, walk the surroundings or just pamper yourself at the gourgeos Spa. After lunch we will introduce ourselves and our journey ahead. Breakfast included. Lunch and dinner on your own in Ubud or at the resort.

2 18 SEP MORNING YOGA + KEBAYA + LEISURE AFTERNOON A very special morning await us. After our daily yoga class we will visit a Balinese Boutique to purchase the traditional Balinese ceremonial dress. There will be many occasions during our trip to wear it as it is necessary to attend ceremonies or to enter holy temples. Afterwards we will enjoy our free time in Ubud, getting familiar with its streets, temples and discovering the big healthy gastronomic and shopping choices that it has to offer. Note: In the afternoon/evening at the hotel we will receive information about water purification rituals as preparation to Melukat ritual on the next day. Breakfast included. Leisure afternoon to visit Ubud. Lunch and dinner on your own in Ubud or at the resort. 19 SEP MORNING YOGA + MELUKAT+LUNCH+OFFERING CLASS+DINNER+KECAK DANCE After our morning yoga practice we head to Tirta Empul, a holy temple where the natural hot springs and waterspouts deliver holy water that the Balinese usually collect for their daily offerings. The temple complex has been declared World Heritage site by UNESCO. Here we perform a water cleansing ritual called Melukat followed by a high priest blessing. Afterwards, we will spend the afternoon/evening in Kemenuh village, to get a real introduction into Balinese daily life. We are welcome to observe and participate in an offering making class (canang), followed by a delicious traditionally cooked dinner at the family compound and an authentic private Kecak dance performance at the family temple. 3 21 SEP MORNING YOGA + CONTRIBUTION DAY By travelling with us you are already contributing to Balinese community thanks to the ecofriendly hotels and activities we have chosen that support directly Balinese local families. Today it is a very special day because we will contribute hands on with an orphanage in Ubud. We will be able to give direct support to the children that are always the most vulnerable ones in any society. Breakfast and lunch included. Dinner on your own in Ubud or at the resort. 22 SEP MORNING YOGA + SPA + LEISURE AFTERNOON We dedicate the morning to pampering ourselves and to appreciating beauty and self care at a special spa located among peaceful natural surroundings, where all products are organic and each treatment is a conscious offering for our well-being. Breakfast included. 2.5hours treatment included. Leisure afternoon. Lunch and dinner on your own in Ubud or at the resort. 23 SEP MORNING YOGA + LEISURE DAY Today will be a free day to enjoy our yoga daily practice and all the wonders that Ubud has to offer us. We will gather after breakfast to have a short introduction to the special purification ritual that will be carried on the following day. Breakfast included. Leisure afternoon. Dinner on your own in Ubud or at the resort. 24 SEP JIMBARAN CAVES + TIME AT BEACH IN JIMBARAN Visit to the Jimbaran Caves with internationally known Pak Gusti Putu Karet, an honored Balinese spiritual teacher. We journey deep down into the sacred Jimbaran Caves to two separate pools of water for ancient Balinese rituals, an unforgettable and mystical experience. After the purification ritual in the caves we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant by the sea breezes of Jimbaran beach. We head to Ubud in the late afternoon for reflection and integration time. Lunch and dinner on your own in Ubud, at the resort or any day trip destination on the island. 26 SEP CHECK OUT TJAMPUHAN HOTEL+ JATILUWIH RICE TERRACES Eco Luxury Resort Check out Tjampuhan hotel. This morning we head towards Munduk, a remote area in the North of Bali set on a ridge running down from the north western rim of the Bedugul caldera. On the way to Munduk we will fill our eyes with the beauty of Jatiluwih rice terraces. Jatiluwih has been named one of UNESCO World Heritages: the site maintains the local culture heritage through a water irrigation system traditionally called by SUBAK. Check in at Munduk Moding Plantation, a luxury eco-resort run by Balinese that honours traditional Balinese culture and environment. Named best eco-luxury resort in 2016 by The World Luxury Hotels Association. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are included. 27 SEP MORNING YOGA WITH ANABEL + LEISURE DAY From now on and until the end of our trip we will enjoy our morning yoga lesson with Anabel. Anabel teaches the secrets to awakening the deep intuitive wisdom of your heart, accessing your intuition and creating an empowered, compassionate and loving relationship to all parts of yourself. This is a day for you to soak into the beauty and luxury of our eco-resort, enjoy the infinity pool, pamper yourself at the spa, take a guided walk on the coffee plantations or take advantage of the many cultural activities that the resort has to offer (cooking, crafts, kite making etc). 5 28 SEP MORNING YOGA WITH ANABEL + LEISURE MORNING+LAKE TAMBLINGAN TREKKING AND CANOING After lunch we will dedicate part of the afternoon to discover the beautiful surroundings of Munduk. We will visit the picturesque Lake Tamblingan situated in the plateau area between two large hills. Nature here is spectacular and we will enjoy a canoe trip on the lake followed by a short trekking in the sorroundings. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included. 29 SEP MORNING YOGA + CHECK OUT MUNDUK MODING PLANTATION + CHECK IN GAIA OASIS Beach Resort Leisure morning in Munduk. After lunch we will head towards the beautiful north shore of Bali, a peaceful and relaxing oasis to take in the sights and sounds of traditional Bali fisher village life. Check in Gaia-Oasis Beach Resort. Breakfast and lunch included at Munduk Moding Plantation. Dinner included at Gaia. 30 SEP- 3 OCT RELAXING AND INTREGRATING TIME AT GAIA + OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES This is the time to devote to yourself: relax on the hammock of your sea front bungalow, take long walks along the beautiful black sand and pebble beach, contemplate the fishing boats going out early in the morning or join one of them to watch the dolphins, pamper yourself with all kinds of beauty and massage treatments at the resort spa, swim and let yourself be nurtured by the gentle waves of the North Sea. You will get the space and time you need to allow your body to fully relax, make an imprint of all the experiences lived and together we will share a special integration ceremony that will serve as a closure to our deep transformational journey.
