In addition to the application requirements referred to above, the attention of all applicants are invited to the provisions of section 50 of the Minerals (Prospecting and Mining) Act, 1992 "General terms and conditions of mineral licences". Due consideration of such provisions should be given in the compilation of applications and, in a related manner, applicants' intentions regarding the participation of Narnibians in proposed ventures which would be encouraged by the Ministry, should be indicated. 4. Particulars of the area of land referred to in paragraph 1(a) may be obtained from the Commissioner's Office. 5. The payment of fees can be made at the Offices of the Management of Eros Aerodrome. 10. Applicants who visit Eros Aerodrome to complete or deliver examination application forms, must please note that payments cannot be received after 15:00 hours. 11. Regulation 1.16 of the Air Navigation Regulations, 1976 as amended stipulates that both the written application and payment for an examination entry must be received at the office of the Director: Civil Aviation on or before the relevant closing date. 12. Applications which are received after the prescribed closing date will not be accepted, regardless of the date on which such applications were completed or payments effected. 13. The above are formal examinations, conducted in accordance with customary examination procedures and requirements, as well as specific Departmental Instructions which are supplied to candidates beforehand. Candidates must also please note that the use of programmable calculators/computers in these examinations are not permitted, and that no other electronic apparatus of any nature, except for authorised calculators/computers may be taken into the examination hall. 14. Once included in the Walvis Bay Municipal area, the "Reclaimed Land" area will be zoned industrial in terms of the Walvis Bay Town Planning Scheme.
