1 Made: 2 nd April 2013 * City of Westminster TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDER WCC 2013 No. 36 The City of Westminster (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. 66) Order 2013 Coming into force: 8 th April 2013 The Council of the City of Westminster, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984(a) as amended and of all other powers thereunto enabling, hereby make the following Order: 1. This Order shall come into force on 8 th April 2013 and may be cited as The City of Westminster (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. 66) Order In this Order: "enactment" means any enactment, whether public general or local, and includes any order, byelaw, rule, regulation, scheme or other instrument having effect by virtue of an enactment and any reference in this Order to any enactment shall be construed as a reference to that enactment as amended, applied, consolidated, re-enacted by or as having effect by virtue of any subsequent enactment; and "the Order of 2011 " means The City of Westminster (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Consolidation No. 1) Order 2011(b). 3. Without prejudice to the validity of anything done or to any liability incurred in respect of any act or omission before the coming into force of this Order, the Order of 2011 shall have effect as though: (a) for the items in Schedule 1 to that Order numbered 939, 1078, 1300 and 1349 there were substituted the items similarly numbered and set out in columns 1 to 4 of Schedule 1 to this Order; and (b) for the items in Schedule 2 to that Order numbered 493 and 509 there were substituted the items similarly numbered and set out in columns 1 to 4 of Schedule 2 to this Order. (a) introduces "at any time" waiting restrictions and loading restrictions (noon to 7.00 a.m.) on the west side of Ward our Street (outside Nos. 1 to 19); (b) introduces "at any time" waiting and loading restrictions - (i) (ii) on the east side of Wardour Street outside the "W" London Hotel and opposite the junction with Coventry Street; and on the west side of Whitcomb Street immediately south-east of its junction with Coventry Street. (c) make minor corrections to the designated lengths of the waiting restrictions that apply in Oxendon Street, Rupert Street, Wardour Street and Whitcomb Street, and to the lengths of the loading restrictions that apply in Wardour Street and Whitcomb Street, 36/9
