7 Day 1 - Edinburgh Discovery of Edinburgh Scotland s Capital city Chauffeur transfer from Edinburgh Airport to your city centre Edinburgh hotel. Late afternoon, it s time for an introductory welcome from your You Trax Representative, with some general information on Scotland and more details about your adventure in the days ahead. Enjoy an early dinner and relax with a single malt Scotch whisky before retiring to your bed for the evening.

9 Day 2 Heading North Your luxury vehicle(s) awaits will be your method of transport for the next few days. Crew will show you the main features of your vehicle before you all embark on your Scottish adventure. The A9, otherwise known as the spine of Scotland is the longest country road at 273 miles 440 km and is the 5 th longest A-road in the United Kingdom Taking the new the Queensferry Crossing which spans the estuary of the River Forth and continue into the ancient Kingdom of Fife. Now you have chance to experience the handling of your vehicle. You skirt past Perth and then set on to one of Scotland s scenic roads as it winds its way north towards the Highlands. Enjoy Enjoy lunch Pitlochry area, in the shadow of the surrounding hills and overlooking Lochs. Continuing north, you ll catch a glimpse of Blair Castle on your right and onwards past Dalwhinnie whisky distillery and to Inverness, the capital of the Highlands. Arrive in Inverness and check-in to your luxury hotel for dinner for over night.

11 Day 3 Try some traditional fish and chip restaurant for lunch. You ll also get the chance to try Scotland s famous haggis and black pudding, recently described as a superfood! Tain is nearby and also home to the famous Scotch whisky, Glenmorangie. After stop by the nearby town of Wick to see the world s shortest street, at just over 2m long! Dinner and overnight in a traditional Scottish castle! Enjoy a late evening walk on the beach. Dunrobin Castle is a fairy tale castle on your way up north including a falconry display in the grounds of the castle. Continue the north coast of Scotland and visit the spectacular Dunrobin Castle, seat of the Earls and Dukes of Sutherland. Based on a French chateau, the castle boasts almost 200 rooms, one of the largest in Scotland.

13 Day 4 After breakfast drive north and take a short diversion via John O Groats to Dunnet Head, the most northerly point of mainland Britain, with views towards the Orkney Isles. Head to the small hamlet of Durness, made famous as the childhood playground of John Lennon, who regularly holidayed here with family. Smoo Cave is located at the easternedge of the village of Durness, onscotland's most northerly coastline. A short drive south is your accommodation for the evening, the beautiful Inverlodge for dinner and overnight. This is one of the major seafood ports of northern Europe, landing much of the prized seafood which ends up served in finest restaurants.

15 Day 5 Inverewe Garden is a lush, sub-tropical-style, oasis perched on a peninsula at the edge of Loch Ewe amid the rugged landscape of Wester Ross, this world-famous historic garden is one of Scotland s most popular botanical attractions. Enjoy driving through stunning Highland scenery, past lochs and mountains. Continue along past Gruinard Bay with beautiful views towards the Summer Isles, the striking An Teallach mountain (The Anvil in English) and a quick Photostop at the beautiful Falls of Measach, at 46m (150ft), one of the highest waterfalls in the UK. Drive through Glen Torridon, with lovely views of Beinn Eighe. This part of Scotland is often referred to as Europe s last great wilderness and you ll see why! Drive along beautiful Loch Maree. Look out for golden eagles and some of the rarest birds in Europe.

17 Day 6 With a gradient close to 20%, this is the highest ascent of any road in the UK. Head towards the remote village of Applecross and return via the historic mountain pass Bealach na Ba (meaning Pass of the Cattle in English). Engineered like an Alpine roads with tight hairpin bends and with a gradient of close to 20%, lays claim to having the highest ascent of any road in the UK! This will be a memorable drive! Return to Inverness via Loch Carron and Muir of Ord where your NC500 is now complete. Late afternoon take a boat trip on Loch Ness, home of the famous Loch Ness Monster be alert, you never know what you may see! And jump aboard a boat on Loch Ness to look for Nessie, the famously shy monster! Dinner and overnight at Inverness hotel.

18 Day 7 Drive through the Cairngorm Mountains on some more wonderfully scenic roads as you return to Scotland's capital city, Edinburgh
