Visit The Glen of Weeping and learn about the 1692 Glencoe massacre, and cross over to the legendary Isle of Skye. We ll step onto the battlefield at Culloden Moor and visit Clava Cairns a prehistoric burial ground. We ll end in Edinburgh one of Europe s most striking cities. 2 Day 1: Fly overnight to Glasgow, Scotland. Glasgow Day 2: Our Scottish adventure begins with a panoramic tour of Glasgow to view its 12th century cathedral, beautiful university buildings and elegant Georgian squares. Accommodations are provided for two nights at the Hallmark Hotel in the downtown area of Glasgow. (D) Stirling Day 3: Today visit Stirling Castle, once the favored residence of Scottish kings and queens. Enjoy superb views of the battlefields where William Wallace and Robert Bruce won decisive battles in the war of independence against England. Experience some of the world's best single malt whisky as we tour a local distillery. View Loch Lomond in Trossachs National Park. The rest of the afternoon is free to explore Glasgow on your own. 3 Stirling Castle Loch Lomond Day 4: This morning visit the quaint village of Glencoe to see the "Glen of the Weeping" and remember the Mac Donald clansmen who were massacred in Near Fort William admire spectacular views of Ben Nevis, Britain s highest peak. This evening check into the Kingmills Hotel in beautiful Inverness for a three-night stay.. (B,D) Day 5: Today a full day of touring takes us to the Scotland's spectacular west coast with a visit to legendary Isle of Skye. Enjoy a scenic drive where well view rugged mountains, towering cliffs and sparkling lochs. Witness the beauty of Eilean Donan Castle, the most photographed castle in Scotland. Later return to the mainland with great memories of today's scenic touring. (B,D)

4 Day 6: Stunning landscapes continue to abound as we view Loch Ness and try to spot the elusive Nessie. Pay a visit to the ruins of medieval Urquhart Castle. Visit the Culloden Battlefield where a half hour battle changed the course of history and lives of the Highland people. 5 Clava Cairns Day 7: Today you ll have some free time to explore the scenic Victorian town of Pitlochry. Continue to the Kingdom of Fife and the lovely town of St. Andrews whose Royal and Ancient Golf Club has given us the rules of golf. End this memorable day in Scotland's capital city of Edinburgh where two nights are included at the Apex City Hotel. (B,D) Pitlochry & St. Andrews Day 8:. This morning we discover Edinburgh's Old and New town; drive up the Royal Mile to Edinburgh Castle to view Scotland's Crown Jewels. Visit the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the official residence of the Queen. The rest of your day is free to enjoy the charm of the city on your own. A special farewell dinner is included. 6 Edinburgh Castle Palace of Holyroodhouse Day 9: Today you will be transported to either Edinburgh or Glasgow Airport for your return home.
