He is a member of the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides ACMG with whom he finished his certification. Jökull is the owner and lead guide of Arctic Heli Skiing. Jökull or JB as most people call him has climbed and skied extensively all over the world, and lived and worked in both the European Alps and the mountains of Western Canada. Built in the late 20 s but since renovated into a comfortable cottage, the main house, which belongs to the family of Jökull, is an excellent example of the architecture of the time.
