1 City and County Incentives Summary The Aurora Economic Development Council helps qualified businesses access each of the following opportunities. Please contact Yuriy Gorlov at or for further information. Local Tax Waivers and Rebates Legislation allows Aurora to negotiate sales/use tax waivers of up to 50 percent for four to ten years on taxable equipment and construction materials. Employees must have an average wage at or above the county average. Counties negotiate property tax waivers of up to 100 percent for four to ten years on taxable personal property. Employees must have an average wage at or above the county average. Purchases of machinery, machine tools or machine parts in excess of $500 by a manufacturing firm for use in the manufacture of tangible personal property in the city of Aurora are exempt from Aurora s 3.75 percent local sales and use tax. The Aurora Economic Development Council coordinates all incentive requests. Complete financial analysis and economic impact modeling is required. Approval for incentives comes from the Aurora City Council through the Aurora Economic Development Council. Permitting Assistance The city of Aurora may fast-track the permitting processes, significantly cutting the time to market. Enterprise Zones Portions of Aurora have been designated by the state as enterprise zones to encourage investment and job creation. Companies setting up in enterprise zones can earn credits against Colorado income tax liability for investment, job creation, employee benefits and training, research and development and certain contributions to enterprise zone activities. In certain cases, for sites outside an enterprise zone, the city of Aurora may create incentives equivalent to or greater than those available in an enterprise zone through the mechanisms described above.

Keep right and pass on left Users, including pets, should stay as near to the right side as is safe, except when passing another user. Look ahead and behind to make sure the area is clear before passing. Give a clear and polite signal produced by voice, bell, or horn before passing. Share the trail If in a group, including your pets, use no more than half the trail. If you stop, move off the trail to allow others to pass freely. Do not block the trail. Be considerate Be respectful of other trail users regardless of their speed, level of skill, or mode. Travel in a consistent and predictable manner. Keep trails clean Do not leave litter on or near a trail. Practice carry in, carry out. Pet courtesy Keep pets on a leash and under control. Clean up your pet s waste. Respect wildlife and habitat Stay on authorized trails and do not create any new ones. Do not disturb or harass wildlife. Do not damage or remove plant material.
