2 Dear Round Square Participants, From Sept. 26 th - Oct. 1 st and again from Oct. 8 th - 13 th, 2015, Little Planet will be offering Pre. & Post Round Square Conference experiences from our beach front location in Juara Village on Tioman Island, Malaysia. Over the course of six days with Little Planet, on beaches and amidst the jungle of Tioman Island, participants will have an opportunity to engage in a wide range of outdoor adventure, conservation and cultural activities including; snorkelling, kayaking, trekking as well as contributing to the efforts of the Juara Turtle Project and the Juara Agricultural Initiative. The objective of this program is to give students an opportunity to gain first- hand exposure to numerous activities, local initiatives and cultural elements whilst having fun, enjoying a pristine tropical environment and bonding through a shared positive and unique experience. At Little Planet we strive to impart the values of conscientiousness, understanding and respect; not only for our environment but for all creatures with whom we share the planet with. 3 Health & Safety Health, safety and security are paramount at Little Planet. Activities undergo a thorough process of risk assessment. Site specific, comprehensive risk management and response plans are developed and updated on an ongoing basis. Little Planet Staff are highly experienced and internationally certified Instructors who understand the needs of, and posses the sensitivity required to confidently manage diverse groups of participants in a wide variety of environments. Food At Little Planet we pride ourselves on the provision of well- balanced meals and snacks. Meal plans are designed to meet the specific needs of each group; any dietary restrictions or requirements will be accommodated to the greatest extent possible. Travel Students travel directly from Singapore by chartered coach to Tangung Gemuk Ferry Terminal, Malaysia, whereupon they travel by ferry directly to Tekek, Tioman. Upon arrival on the Island, Little Planet staff will meet the group and provide transfer to Juara Village by 4x4. When travelling with a large group of students, travel times are often hard to predict and minor delays are not uncommon. With this in mind it is always a good idea for participants to come prepared with snacks, packed lunches and / or spending money to pick up food along the way. 2

(Specific drop- off location TBC) Insurance Upon successful registration and receipt of full payment, Little Planet will arrange for comprehensive travel and health insurance through our insurance provider. Included in this travel insurance are 24/7 medical assistance, evacuation and repatriation services. This policy also includes trip cancellation coverage and is the only method available to achieve a refund. Little Planet does not issue refunds in the event of cancellation. Immigration Passport holders from several countries require a pre- arranged visa in order to enter Malaysia. It is imperative that this is taken care of prior to departure, as Visas are not available on arrival whilst entering Malaysia from Singapore overland. Participant s passports must be valid for a minimum of six months beyond the date of departure. 3

9 Packing List Item Description Quantity Passport Medication Date of expiry should be no less than six months away from date of travel. Any necessary prescription medications (epinephrine if anaphylactic). Glasses Please make sure that your child has a method of securing their glasses 2 with a cord or type of clip. Personal hygiene products Tooth- brush/paste, soap, feminine products. Non- scented products are ideal. Sunscreen Ideally: SPF 15+, water- resistant. Min. 125 ml Insect repellent Min. 60 ml Wide- brimmed hat Necessary for sun protection 1 Towel The Resort does not provide towels. 1 Water bottle 1.5 L. typical water bottle. 2 Back- pack L. Good quality backpack. 1 Flashlight Headlamps are ideal. 1 Water Shoes Anything closed- toed that will stay on the feet in the water. Neoprene 1 booties are ideal. Walking/Running Shoes Something with a tread. Flat- bottomed shoes (i.e. basketball, tennis, 1 skateboarding) are not sufficient.
