The closest bus stop to my home in Hinsdale is 2 miles away (22nd St. at York Rd). It's a long walk, but I've done it. I'd like a transit option that links my community (Hinsdale) with the rest of world. 241. I commute frequently between Hinsdale and Lombard. 242. I do not drive because I am blind. 243. I do not drive but I do take the local Pace bus but it only operates on rush hours. But you can not get back during the day hours if you went downtown. You cannot go downtown or anywhere else during the day. 244. I don't but my clients might need transportation 245. I don t drive 246. I don't drive 247. I don't drive 248. I don't drive because I don't have a car and the gas prices are too high to own one. 249. I don't drive. 250. I DON'T DRIVE. I ALWAYS HAVE TO GET RIDES. IF THERE WAS A BUS ROUTE IT WOULD BE MUCH BETTER FOR US WHO HAVE TO DEPEND ON OTHERS TO DRIVE AND PICK UP 251. I drive but my kids might like to take a bus with their friends. 252. I drive but my kids might like to take a bus with their friends. 253. I drive to work and wish there was a way to conserve gas by taking bus to work. I can't even get anyone willing to carpool. 254. I drive to work from Chicago everyday to Oak Brook. If I could take public transportation to work that would be less expensive and more efficient. 255. I have a drivers license, but I do not drive. I prefer public transportation. If a reliable system were in place, I would use it every opportunity I had. 256. I have a medical condition that prevents me to drive 257. I like to take a bus only for the winter season 258. I normally drive 259. I often drive to work (from Briarcliffe and 22nd to Wheaton College). I would like to be more environmentally friendly by taking a bus. I do sometimes take the bus that passes along Briarcliffe and that goes to the College Avenue Metra station. Then I walk from there to the college. 260. I prefer to drive 261. I would consider it adequate if a senior or student or tourist could get around like they do in Europe by public transportation. 262. I would like to be able to take to take the bus to visit my family. 263. I would like to be able to take to take the bus to visit my family. 264. I would like to have a bus take me from the Downers Grove train station to either Midway or O'Hare airports. Cab fare to the airports is very expensive. DuPage Area Local Circulator Study, Market Analysis Page F-9

Even if the bus cost extra $$, it would be worth paying the price. That is, if the schedule were frequent and the pick/up and drop-off were convenient. Maybe there could be pick-up/drop-off/parking places in various suburbs where people could park their cars for cheap and take the bus to airports. 267. I would love to be able to take a bus to work. I live in Lisle and feel there should be more connections between all of the suburbs. Many people in the suburbs work in the suburbs, but not the same area where they live. For us to take a bus to work we would have to get on the bus, go to a Metra station, travel one or two stops, get on another bus, and then finally walk to our work locations. For me to go the 12 miles to work I would need to spend nearly two hours traveling 268. I would never take the bus. 269. If I worked in the suburbs, I would probably like to take the bus to work. But I work in the city. If I didn't live so close to the train station, I would definitely take a bus to the train station, if available. 270. If my car is not working, I would like to be able to take a bus from Lisle to Oak Brook to get to work. 271. If there was direct transportation from northeast Naperville to western Oak Brook 272. In DuPage, nowhere. 273. In the areas of Lombard and Glendale Hts. 274. Insurance company, doctors, grocery stores. 275. Intersection of Wood Dale & Irving Park Rd 276.
