Surrounded by beautiful countryside yet just a short stroll from the beach, our camping area covers over 20 acres of level grassland plus some additional sloping areas. It s well laid out with surfaced roads and lighting and there s plenty of electric hook-ups available. You can take advantage of Freshwater s superb facilities which include pools, restaurants, bars and entertainment, all located close to the touring and camping fields. We are perfectly situated to get out and about to explore Dorset s beautiful coast and countryside, but if you just want to stay put you ll appreciate all that the Park has to offer. Cliffs don t go too near the edge, don t walk or sit right at the base of the cliffs because of potential rock falls. Sea, river and swimming pool always supervise your children when they are in or near water including the swimming pools: be aware that the beach shelves steeply; don t swim or paddle when the sea is rough; there is no lifeguard service on the beach. Uneven surfaces and potholes these are a feature of the countryside; be careful not to trip or slip on rough ground especially where animals have been burrowing.
