A short cycle ride (1km) along quiet country lanes to collect your free range eggs from the local farm! The large totally private garden has wonderful views of the countryside. Here you can relax by the heated pool on the large terrace whilst the children enjoy the space and freedom of the enclosed garden. Unwind in the evening with a glass of wine and listen to the sounds of the country - sheep, birds, frogs and the occasional farmer passing through! Accommodation; The property has been modernised,but still retains much of its original character. Three bedrooms (one double with cot available, two twin bedded) 2 bathrooms one of which is en suite.there is a fully fitted Hygena kitchen with plenty of storage space and dining area to seat 6 people.the lounge has comfortable sofas and chairs, exposed beams, wood burning stove, TV with British channels, DVD player and games console, Wi Fi (not fast enough for streaming/online gaming). There is a purpose built indoor games area in the barn with table tennis,table football,pool table,darts and air

French windows lead out onto a large patio area, exclusive use of your own in-ground heated swimming pool, pergola,garden furniture,sun-loungers, a selection of outdoor games and a barbecue.there are bicycles available for you to use during your stay suitable for short,local rides. We provide a welcome pack and a fully comprehensive information pack to allow you to relax immediately you arrive.the beds will be made up and your bed linen and towels are included in the price.end of stay clean is not included and is payable locally. Activities nearby include golf,tennis,cycling,horse riding,fishing,canoeing and many more.there are leisure lakes with flumes nearby and wildlife parks to visit. A perfect location for simply relaxing or trying a new sport. Poitiers,Futuroscope,Cognac,La Rochelle,La Venise Verte, beautiful chateaux and many more attractions all within easy reach.second only to the South of France as the sunniest place in France! The nearest beaches are approx. 1hr 15 minutes away. Chatelaillon Plage near La Rochelle has sandy beaches,shops restaurants and a daily market in the summer. L ile de Noirmoutier and L ile de Re are also well worth a visit. This is also a perfect place for golfers! The nearest course is 2 Km away and is a 27 hole course suitable for beginners to club players. Lessons are available and the club has a French Pro as well as very friendly English speaking staff. The restaurant is open during the day and evening from April to October.There are 3 other golf courses within 45 minutes drive and a golf package can be arranged.
