1 DONCASTER BOROUGH COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS DONCASTER) SPEED LIMITS (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2011 (AMENDMENT NO. ) ORDER 2018 Notice is hereby given that Borough Council propose to make an Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers The effect of Order will be:- i) to extend the existing 30mph speed limit on FISHLAKE NAB Fishlake from its junction with Dirty Lane by a distance of 72 metres. ii) to extend the existing 30 mph speed limit on SOUR LANE Fishlake from its junction with Wood Lane by a distance of 103 metres. A copy of the proposed Order together with a map showing the restricted roads and a statement of the Councils reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined at (i) The Council Offices, Civic Office, Waterdale, between 8.45 a.m. and 4.45 p.m. Monday to Friday and (ii) The Central Library, Waterdale, during normal opening hours. 2 DONCASTER BOROUGH COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS DONCASTER) SPEED LIMITS (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2011 (AMENDMENT NO. ) ORDER 2018 Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter called the Act ) and all other enabling powers having consulted the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with paragraph 20 of Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act and of all other enabling powers hereby makes the following Order:- 1 The Borough Council (Various Roads ) Speed Limits (consolidation) Order 2011 shall have effect as though:- (i) the following items were deleted from Schedule 2.01 of the Order 30 mph Speed Limit:- That length of Fishlake Nab at Fishlake which extends from a point 46 metres south west of its junction with Dirty Lane to its junction with Pinfold Lane. That length of Sour Lane at Fishlake which extends from its junction with Pinfold Lane to a point 114 metres east of its junction with Wood Lane. (ii) and the following items were inserted into Schedule 2.01 of the Order 30 mph Speed Limit; That length of Fishlake Nab at Fishlake which extends from a point 161 metres south west of its junction with Dirty Lane to its junction with Pinfold Lane. That length of Sour Lane at Fishlake which extends from its junction with Pinfold Lane to a point 235 metres east of its junction with Wood Lane. 2. 7 AMENDMENT TO 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT FISHLAKE NAB & SOUR LANE FISHLAKE STATEMENT OF REASONS This proposal is intended to avoid danger to persons or traffic by creating a more compliant speed limit along the section of roads in question.
