Welcome and Apologies Apologies noted above. Moira welcomed Linn Williamson to the group and congratulated her on her appointment as the new chair of Dunfermline & West LTA. 2. Fife Cycle Park Update Emma Broadhurst & Nicola Philp kindly attended the meeting to give an update on the Fife Cycle Park which opened yesterday (23 rd May). A brand new outdoor cycling facility, between Lochgelly and Lochore, and the first of its kind in Scotland The circuit can also be divided up into different sections to offer a choice of layouts Bike and helmet hire A range of programmes and activities on offer Floodlit circuit built to A Road standard that allows for a full range of cycling activities to take place in a traffic free environment all year round. Clubhouse with indoor and outdoor viewing areas Meeting Room for hire

Area Updates St Andrews Lots of support received for Beach Wheelchairs project. Launching alongside chariots of fire race. Wheelchairs will be free to book and will be bookable through the Hamish Trust website. Tourism St Andrews meeting takes place on 19 th June. Cruise 2 brochures distributed to cruise passengers. New brochure created by Stay in St Andrews St Andrews Cathedral 700 th Anniversary events in place. East Neuk Various festivals & Events coming up Anstruther Harbour Festival, Crail Food Festival, East Neuk Festival, Open Studios, RNLI Open Day Main focus is the information kiosk hut at May Princess. Roger expressed concerns over lack of businesses on Digital Kiosk and also, kiosk looking a bit worn and unsightly. John & Ann to look into this and check if Derek can speak at next meeting and other LTA meetings. John/Ann Cupar & North Fife Meeting took place at Muddy Boots on 1 st March.

3 Moira attends the Cupar Interpretive plan meetings. Cupar Development Trust (CDT) Made up of representative groups in the town including the LTA. They have been successful in obtaining funding from Heritage Lottery Funding for a Classic Cupar photography project. Further funding is being applied for to employ two members of staff to run the community projects which have developed from the Cupar charrette, it is hoped in time to develop a Community Hub in the centre of the town which would hold the Heritage Museum which is bursting at the seams as well as other Community activities and projects. Scottish Deer Centre planning to be fully wheelchair accessible. Brochure reprinted and being distributed Dunfermline & West Linn now chair of the LTA Looking into networking event later in the year Outlander group taking part in Culross Festival & creating treasure hunt in Culross 3. WorldHost Update People 1 st went into administration at the end of April but were taken on a week later by The Workforce Development Trust (WDT) legally acquiring a number of People 1 st s key strategic activities, namely; Apprenticeship Registration & Certification, Qualifications & NOS reviews, External Quality Assurance (EQA), Accreditation Services, International business. The licence of WorldHost has not yet been sorted. Fife Tourism Partnership have gone ahead and are running a course at the Secret Bunker on 4 th June after discussion with WDT. The situation with thereafter be monitored. All businesses still recognised as WorldHost Businesses and Fife also as a WorldHost Destination.

Fife Tourism Partnership Ambassadog VisitScotland Ambassadog: After a nationwide search, VisitScotland recruited their ambassadog in the form of George, a golden retriever who has a large social media following. George & owners came to Fife in May. Food Bloggers Conference Food Bloggers Conference: 8 Bloggers with great reach came to Fife to sample the flavours of the Kingdom. Duplicating the format of the September 16 event, there was a conference style morning at Lindores Abbey Distillery with talks from Drew & Helen MacKenzie on their story of creating the distillery before Gemma Armitt from Two Scots Abroad. Other businesses who took part included The Newport, Catchpenny Safari Lodges, various Fife merchants at Bowhouse, Never.25/Tayport Distillery, Christopher Trotter, Barnsmuir Farm, Ardross Farm and Pillar of Hercules. The Welcome to Fife team will monitor outputs from event such as blogs, reach etc. Social channels all seeing healthy growth as well as visits to WelcometoFife.com 6. AOB The group congratulated Moira on her recent win at the Business Women Scotland Women in Hospitality & Tourism Awards. Linn is speaking to organisers about the possibility of bringin the awards to Fife.

5 Ann spoke of an online campaign ahead of St Andrews Day entitled #GetYerKiltOn. The intends to encourage Fifers, famous and nonfamous, to put on their kilt to celebrate St Andrews Day. 7.
