Queenstown Road station will be closed on both days. Revised timetables will run on all routes to and from London Waterloo. Most routes will have a reduced service. Trains to Epsom and Chessington will start from Wimbledon. Trains to Guildford via Cobham, also to Hampton Court will start from Surbiton. On Sunday, trains to Woking via Hounslow will start from Staines. On Monday, trains to Weybridge via Hounslow will start from Staines. Some Mainline services will start from Basingstoke. London Paddington will be closed on both days. Extra trains will run between London Waterloo and Reading. A revised service will run between London Waterloo, Salisbury and Exeter. On Monday December the train service will start to shut down from about 900 with the whole network closed by about 00. Please make sure your journey will be possible before starting. (This work will continue until Thursday January.) There will be no South ern Railway service between Salisbury and Bristol throughout this period. Please use Great ern Railway services and replacement buses. Thursday 7 December to Sunday 0 December Guildford area All lines in the Guildford area, except the route via Clandon, will be closed from Thursday 7 December until Sunday 0 December for bridge repairs. A reduced train service will run between London Waterloo and Guildford, calling at Surbiton instead of Woking. These trains will also call at Effingham except on Sunday. Buses will run between Woking, Guildford and Haslemere. A revised train service will run between Haslemere and Portsmouth. Extra trains will run between London Waterloo and Portsmouth via Eastleigh. Passengers travelling from London Waterloo, Clapham or Woking to Portsmouth should use these trains to avoid the buses. Trains between London Waterloo and Guildford via Cobham will only run between London Waterloo and Effingham except on Sunday when they will run to Guildford as normal. A revised train service will run between London Waterloo, and Guildford via Epsom. Buses will replace trains between Aldershot and Guildford. Great ern Railway services will also be affected.
