2 Mae'r etholiad yma'n bwysig i ni ym Mhwllheli. 'Dyma pam rydw i'n sefyll a dyma fydda i'n ei wneud:- Ein tref - mae'n rhaid gwella Pwllheli Gwaith - Heb waith, heb ddim. Drwy adeiladu ar gryfderau Pwllheli - y môr, yr harbwr, tref farchnad - a gofalu bod help ar gael i fusnesau lleol, mi allwn ni gadw mwy o'n pobl ifanc yma. Llifogydd - Os na fyddwn ni'n ofalus, mi fydd bron yn amhosib cael yswiriant tai mewn rhannau o Bwllheli. Mae Pwllheli mewn mwy o berygl llifogydd nag erioed. Mae rhaid amddiffin Pwllheli RWAN. Mi fyddai i'n sicrhau y bydd Pwllheli'n cael blaenoriaeth. Parcio - Os na fydd pobl yn gallu parcio, bydd siopau a busnesau Pwllheli'n marw. Mae pobl yn gadael y dref yn yr haf am fod pob maes parcio'n orlawn. Mae digon o le ar yr hen ynys i greu maes parcio 'parcio a theithio'... Ein plant, ein pobl Ein dyfodol - Os nad oes yna ddyfodol i'n plant ym Mhwllheli, does yna ddim dyfodol i Bwllheli. Ysgol Glan y Môr - Roeddwn yn Gadeirydd y Llywodraethwyr pan lwyddodd Ysgol Glan y Môr i gael yr adeiladau newydd. Rwy'n Is-Gadeiydd yn dal i weithio'n galed i sicrhau'r adnoddau gorau i'r ysgol. CIP - Cynllun Ieuenctid Pwllheli - Rwyf hefyd yn gadeirydd CIP, sy'n lle i bobl ifanc gael paned, cyngor, help efo gwaith cartref a defnyddio cyfrifiaduron. Mae yna dros 200 o aelodau a daeth plant a phobl ifanc i ymweld â'r ganolfan yn 8 Lôn Caerdydd tua 4,000 o weithiau yn ystod y flwyddyn. Mae CIP yn ymestyn gorwelion ac yn annog antur, dringo'r Wyddfa er engraifft. Mi fydda i'n ymladd i'r eithaf i ofalu na fydd torriadau'r llywodraeth yn amharu ar y gwasanaeth pwysig yma. Ein cymunedau Mae'n rhaid cadw Pwllheli'n brifddinas LLyn ^ ac Eifionydd. Rhaid gofalu nad ydi pob dim yn mynd i Gaernarfon a Bangor. Bryn Beryl - Ein pobl ni sydd wedi hel arian i gadw Bryn Beryl i fynd ar hyd y blynyddoedd. Mi fyddai'n ymladd i'r eithaf i gael y gofal iechyd gorau i bawb yn y cylch.

3 Ail-gylchu -Mae pawb ar eu hennill wrth ofalu am yr amgylchedd. Fi wthiodd y syniad o sgipiau cymunedol yn ôl yn nyddiau Cyngor Dwyfor. Mae'n braf eu gweld wedi datblygu'n safle ail-gylchu benigamp yng Nglandon. Mae angen ei chadw. Presenoldeb - Mae'r penderfyniadau pwysig ynglyn â Phwllheli'n cael eu gwneud yng Nghaernarfon. Mae Pwllheli wedi dioddef 4 blynedd o gael ei hanwybyddu. Mae gen i'r amser a'r ymroddiad i gael Pwllheli'n ôl ar frig agenda'r Cyngor. Michael Sol Owen yn arwain criw CIP i ben Tre'r Ceiri, Chwefror 2012 Pwy yw Michael Sol Owen? Addysg - Cefais fy addysg yma ym Mhwllheli, yn Ysgol Troed yr Allt, wedyn yn Ysgol Ramadeg Pwllheli, cyn graddio mewn Ffiseg ym Mhrifysgol Bangor. Gwaith a Phrofiad - Ar ol graddio dewisais ddod yn ôl i Bwllheli i redeg busnes llechi ac ithfaen y teulu. Tyfodd gymaint nes y bu rhaid symud i adeilad newydd a sefydlu busnes newydd - Cerrig Cyf - ar Ystad Glandon. Fel Rheolwr Gyfarwyddwr, roeddwn yn cyflogi dros 30 o bobl lleol. Ar sail fy mhrofiad, cefais fy mhenodi'n Ymgynghorydd Busnes i'r Cynulliad ac erbyn hyn rwy'n rhedeg busnes argraffu ar y Stryd Fawr yma ym Mhwllheli. Personol- Rwy'n briod â Gwyneth ac yn dad i Llinos a Gruffudd. 'Rwyf wrth fy modd cerdded a mynydda, darllen llyfrau am wyddoniaeth, a cheisio chwarae'r piano....

4 Pam Plaid Cymru? - 'Rwy'n yn sicr mai drwy fod yn aelod o Grwp ^ Plaid Cymru ar y Cyngor y mae cael y gorau i Bwllheli. Prin fod gan aelodau grwpiau bychan ddylanwad o gwbl. Mae llawer gormod yn 'dweud dim a gwneud dim'. Mae Plaid Cymru yn trin problemau'n agored ac yn gytbwys - yn union fel y dylai, a heb gilio a chuddio'r oblygiadau oddi wrth y cyhoedd. Mae Cynghorwyr y Blaid yn manteisio o fod yn rhan o Dîm Gwynedd sy'n cynnwys Aelodau Cynulliad a Seneddol gweithgar y Blaid - mewn undeb mae nerth. Pam pleidleisio i fi? Fel un o hogia ardal Pwllheli rwy'n awyddus ac yn barod i weithio'n galed dros y dref a'i thrigolion. Bydd fy mhrofiad o'r byd busnes, rhedeg cwmni, a chynnig cyngor i fusnesau bach o gymorth i mi helpu pobl Pwllheli i gael y gorau o'r Cyngor Un o'm prif blaenoriaethau fydd gofalu na fydd llifogydd yn difetha Pwllheli. Mae fy ngwaith eisoes yn dangos hynny - 'rwy'n Llysgenad Cymunedol i'r Cynllun Peilot Llifogydd sydd wedi'i sefydlu ym Mhwllheli a chafodd fy ngwaith ei gydnabod wrth i mi annerch y National Flood Forum yn Llundain fis Mawrth eleni. 5 Why Plaid Cymru? - I'm confident that membership of the Plaid Cymru Group is the best option for me to serve Pwllheli and the area. Cyngor Gwynedd Council runs 15 major services for us the electorate. Every Councillor has to be a member of a Group. Some Groups are very small, some have a narrow focus, concentrating on only one service while ignoring the rest. Plaid Cymru Group, has over the years on Gwynedd shown that it is ready to deal fairly with the electorate on a number of difficult problems without side-stepping and avoiding the issues. Plaid Cymru Councillors have the advantage of being part of Team Gwynedd, which includes the party's hardworking Assembly Members & Members of Parliament - there's strength in unity... Why vote for me? Born and brought up in the Pwllheli area I'm ready and willing to work hard on behalf of the town and its inhabitants. My experience in the world of business, running a company and working as a business consultant, will help me to give advice to the residents of Pwllheli on Council matters. One of my chief priorities is to ensure that a flood defence plan gets the go-ahead here in Pwllheli - I'm currently a Community Flood Ambassador for the Pwllheli Pilot Scheme and addressed a conference of the National Flood Forum in London this March on matters concerning threats of flooding in the Pwllheli area. I have a 'track record' of working for Pwllheli and its people. Something on your mind? 6 Re-cycling - Everyone's a winner when it comes to looking after the environment. On the previous Dwyfor Council I worked to establish a skip re-cycling service, this developed into a 1st rate re-cycling depot here at Glandon. I'll be watching (during cutbacks) that this important service is kept open. Attendance - Important decisions about Pwllheli are made in Caernarfon. During the last 4 years attendance from this ward has been disappointing. I've both the time and dedication to attend these important meetings. Michael Sol Owen leading a team from CIP, on Tre'r Ceiri, February 2012 Who is Michael Sol Owen? Education - I was educated at Pwllheli, Ysgol Troed yr Allt, and Pwllheli Grammar School. I then studied at Bangor University graduating with a Joint Honours in Physics and Materials Science... Work & Experience - After graduating I returned to Pwllheli to run the family business in the stone industry. The business developed (into Cerrig Ltd.) and was re-located to the Glandon Industrial Estate. As Managing Director it was a valuable experience expanding a business employing over 30 local people. As a result of my experience I became a business consultant working on behalf of the Assembly Government. I am currently running a printing business here on the High Street, Pwllheli. Personal - I'm married to Gwyneth and father of Llinos and Gruffudd. I enjoy mountaineering, reading books on science and attempting to play the piano.

7 This is an important election for us in Pwllheli. I'm standing for the following reasons and will be giving priority to them:- Our town - Pwllheli deserves a better deal. Work - No work, no hope. By building on Pwllheli's strengths - the sea, the harbour, a market town - and ensuring that help is at hand for local businesses, we can keep more of our youngsters here. Flooding - If we're not careful, it will become almost impossible to get insurance in parts of Pwllheli. Pwllheli is more in danger of flood threats than ever before. Pwllheli must be defended NOW. I will ensure that Pwllheli will get priority with flood defences. Parking - If people can't park, shops and busnesses in Pwllheli will die. Visitors leave Pwllheli in the Summer because of inadequate parking. There's plenty of room on the 'hen ynys' to make a 'park & ride' car park... Our children, our people. Our future - If there's no future for our children in Pwllheli, there's no future for Pwllheli. Ysgol Glan y Môr- I was Chairman of the Board of Governors. when the school succeeded in getting new buildings. I'm presently the Vice-Chairman and will work hard to ensure that the school gets the best facilities. CIP - Cynllun Ieuenctid Pwllheli- (Pwllheli Youth Project) - A place for young people to have a cuppa, advice, help with homework and use of the computers. We have over 200 members and get around 4,000 visits a year from children and young people to 8 Lower Cardiff Rd. We also arrange educational visits and outdoor opportunities like the ascent of Snowdon. As Chairman of CIP, a registered charity, I will be working hard to ensure that this valuable service is not lost in the cutbacks. Our community Pwllheli is the 'capital' of Llyn ^ and Eifionydd. It's important to make sure that everything does not go to Caernarfon and Bangor. Bryn Beryl- It's our people that's made the effort to find the money to keep Bryn Beryl open all these years. I'll fight to retain the best level of health care for everyone in the area.
