This issue is dedicated to Ken Hyland of Hitches, Bay 111, Ken is our first tenant at Pelican Bays. Please see our Spotlight on the Bay section for an article on Hitches. In this newsletter, we have compiled a list of tenants that have been here 10 years or more. We are proud of all of you. We are thankful for each and every person who has made Pelican Bays, not just a business, but a home. We are extremely grateful, thank you. Cheers to 30 Years...and Cheers to many more years! As Pelican Bays Celebrates 30 Years of Business, we want to take this opportunity to thank you for helping us succeed and invite you to join us in a celebration of this special occasion. Please feel free to drop by our office on Friday June 1st, 2018, between the hours of 11 am to 5 pm for an open house with food and cupcakes. All tenants and employees are welcomed. SPOTLIGHT ON THE BAY We will spotlight a different bay each month, this month it is our friends at: Hitches Bay # 111 30 YEARS

Prior to moving in, Ken watched patiently as Building One was under construction.

They are bright, and has been his signature card since he first started Hitches.

He is also well known and remembered for his 1962 school bus that was once his camper/home. His beloved camper is still inside Bay 111.

If you want to learn some history of the area, take a few minutes and visit him.

2 SPOTLIGHT ON THE BAY We will spotlight a different bay each month, this month it is our friends at: Hitches Bay # BAYS KEN HYLAND Ken Hyland is the very first tenant here at Pelican Bays. His original lease was signed in February Prior to moving in, Ken watched patiently as Building One was under construction. He moved in the Summer of 1988, and his business is still thriving. Ken is known for his RED Business Cards. They are bright, and has been his signature card since he first started Hitches. Ken installs trailer hitches, which has been his speciality for over 40 years and he is known for his quality of work. He is also well known and remembered for his 1962 school bus that was once his camper/home. His beloved camper is still inside Bay 111. (BTW, the bus still runs and holds lots of good stories and secrets!) Ken is quite a historian of South Florida. If you want to learn some history of the area, take a few minutes and visit him. He has seen a lot of changes over the last 30 years and has As for Pelican Bays fantastic stories to share.
