Safehands Holidays is part of the Safehands Group of Companies, which incorporates Safehands Care and Safehands Nurseries, both of which have branches throughout the North West of England. Safehands has specialised in the delivery of all aspects of care for the past 20 years and is able to offer a range of unique care solutions to all our clients regardless of age or disability. Confidence and commitment from investors and managers throughout the company has seen Safehands grow into a substantial multimillion pound care-orientated business. The Safehands portfolio started in 2011 with the purchase of the New Mayfair Hotel on Blackpool s New South Promenade. This hotel is registered with the Care Quality Commission, allowing us to provide a unique holiday experience with a specialist in-house care team capable of offering a complete package of care, ranging from personal care through to social and leisure support. In February 2015 Safehands expanded its holiday portfolio with the opening of its second hotel, the Esplanade Hotel on the Promenade in Llandudno, North Wales, fitted out to the highest standards and boasting enviable sea views, this hotel offers all the facilities of our sister hotel in Blackpool and is registered with the Care and Social Services Inspectorate in Wales, again allowing us to provide a similar range of care services to those in Blackpool.

4 Accessible Short Breaks The New Mayfair Hotel Welcome to Safehands at The New Mayfair Hotel, the CQC registered home of specialist and wheelchair-accessible holidays in Blackpool. All our public areas have recently undergone redecoration and new furnishings have been installed. The New Mayfair Hotel has 43 modern accessible rooms and is situated in the enviable position of South Beach on South Promenade, with spectacular panoramic sea views. Most of Blackpool s world famous attractions are only a short distance away, not to mention the fabulous countryside of Lancashire and the Lake District, which are only one hour away. There is a fully accessible modern tram service from Blackpool to Fleetwood which runs every 20 minutes at peak season. The tram stop is situated opposite the hotel. Lancashire and the Lake District can be accessed through our own fully accessible excursions.

5 Accessible Bedrooms All our bedrooms are appointed to a very high standard, most of which have sea views and are beautifully decorated. Each bedroom is equipped with a large, specially designed shower room complete with a grab rail and shower chair commode, and most have an electric profile bed with built-in sides. We have a selection of rooms with overhead tracking facilities; all rooms have accessible wardrobes, digital television and a hospitality tray; and for extra reassurance all rooms are fitted with an emergency call system linking rooms to reception and care staff. 6 Quality Dining in Our South Beach Restaurant We understand that good food is an important feature of your holiday and that is why we have our own in-house chefs with over 20 years experience in cooking traditional and authentic cuisine. Using local suppliers wherever possible to provide us with fresh produce, you can be assured of good quality home-cooked meals throughout your stay. We are proud to say we still offer waitress service so guests and carers can relax and enjoy our hearty English breakfasts and traditional Sunday roasts, not to mention our famous freshly battered fish and chips, along with a selection of homemade vegetarian options. Wheat-free, dairy-free and other dietary requirements can be catered for, including a variety of delicious children s meals. 7 Fantastic Entertainment Every Night from 8.30pm Because we want the best holiday experience for everyone, we put a lot of time and energy into our fabulous live entertainment packages. Entertainment is on every night from 8.30pm along with bingo and raffles to keep everyone entertained. Throughout the year, The New Mayfair will host a range of top stars from the nation s favourite soaps, including Coronation Street and Emmerdale, along with our fantastic star tribute acts, so look out for our specially themed weekends.

8 As most of the guests know the night would not be complete without Bingo. Alison agreed that she would call bingo, clearly a first for her, and a night to remember for all our guests. by The Sea Side One guest commented You can tell you don t serve in the bar just drink at it 2 1/2 pints later and a comment to tell Kym Marsh where to go with her pint... Alison was very pleased with her lively looking pint. The New Mayfair Hotel hosts 2 3 Soap Star Special short breaks every year, these have always been really popular, with a lot of our regular guests returning for more fun and photos to add to their safehands holidays photo album. Alison King has been one of Coronation Streets favourite characters for over ten years, having many different relationships and ups and downs as her on screen character Carla Connor, Operations Manager Karen Dixon was confident the guests would not mind that she was no longer in the show. Alison interacted with the guests during the first part of the night by answering various questions about her on screen character, prior to meeting all the guests and having her photograph taken to go in an extra special signed presentation wallet. Alison continued the night by engaging with the guests and hotel staff answering their questions and dancing, whilst the fabulous Nicole interacted with all our guests singing and dancing. The evening also hosted a best dressed competition, golden oldies Pat & Lucy stole the show dressed in red and ready to party. Winners Pat & Lucy won a free stay at The New Mayfair Hotel which they enjoyed in August 2017.

The Esplanade Hotel has 40 modern accessible rooms and is situated on the outstanding victorian promenade in the heart of Llandudno Bay, with a fantastic central location, amazing views of the Great Orme and the famous Pier. The main shopping street, Venue Cymru Theatre and the Llandudno Museum are only a short stroll away. Various other tourist attractions are within an hour of the hotel including Conwy Castle, Anglesey, Snowdonia National Park, Betws-y-Coed, Llanberis, and Lake Padarn all of which can be accessed on our fully accessible excursions.

Local entertainers will greet you from 8.30pm to perform live music along with bingo and raffles. Celtic & Sandra return as friends for their joint Birthday Celebration Karen visited the Esplanade Hotel in September to catch up with some regular guests. Tallagth aka Celtic has enjoyed holidays with Safehands Holidays for the past 4 years, her first being a short break to the New Mayfair Hotel for her 40th Birthday back in September Celtic from London has become a regular guest at the Esplanade Hotel in Llandudno. This time she was joined by friends from Shrewsbury Sandra and Alison who brought their mum along to celebrate Sandra s Birthday. The Girls met last year at the Esplanade Hotel and have kept in contact via social media and arranged to come and have a joint birthday celebration.

29 Paul Marks & Christine Green visit the Esplanade Hotel twice a year with members of the Ms Society North Staffordshire. In 2017 they chose to stay for our soap star special midweek break, the group enjoyed the evening entertainment especially the fantastically talented female artist Eryl Restall, she had them all up dancing and cheering, ready to welcome our soap star for the evening; AMY WALSH aka Tracy Metcalf. Amy was greeted by the group with a warm welcome, she interacted with all the guests, responding to various questions as well as singing and dancing with them. Amy greeted each of the guests individually, with our in-house photographer to ensure all guests had their photo taken. These were then readily available to take home in a signed presentation card. Group organiser Dave Wilson returns to the Esplanade Hotel with members of the Manx Blind Welfare Society Dave Wilson of the Manx Blind Welfare Society said his blind and visually impaired members thoroughly enjoyed their stay at the Esplanade Hotel. Margaret said their group love coming to Blackpool for our Star Tribute weeks in March, they always stay for 7 nights and enjoy days out around the resort along with our fantastic entertainment. Godfrey, Gareth, Steven and Philip all said they were looking forward to coming back in March 2018, they said they had really enjoyed the entertainment with Nicole on Wednesday Night. David Said it had been another great visit, they had all been looked after and praised staff members Ray, Lesley and Julie. 31 Booking Terms and Conditions A non-refundable deposit of per person is required to secure your booking. The balance of the holiday is to be paid in full at least eight weeks prior to your arrival, in the event of accommodation being reserved within eight weeks of the arrival date the accommodation is to be paid in full either by cheque (return of post) or by credit/debit card over the telephone. Should the balance of the holiday not be received within eight weeks of the arrival date then the accommodation will be cancelled and the non-refundable deposit will be retained. All of our short break prices are based on standard rooms with full occupancy, under occupied rooms carry a supplement charge of 50% of our standard tariff price. All of our advertised short breaks are based on half board which includes breakfast and evening meal. Bed & Breakfast only can be selected at the time of booking, a discount of 5.00 per person per night will be applied. Guests who are peg fed will receive a discount of per night. Premier & Sea View rooms carry an additional charge of 7.00 per person per night. Our Bar lounge menu is available from 12 3pm each day.
