This segment has increased significantly (+3.1 points) and saw a 1.5 point increase in the Kansas City feeder market and a 1.1 point increase in the Columbia and Dallas feeder markets. Branson Landing saw an increase in market share, up 1 point to 51% of Branson visitors overall. Similar to 2016 Branson visitors overall, Branson Landing visitors are inspired to visit the area primarily due to live shows, Silver Dollar City and the Branson Landing itself. Branson Landing visitors reported spending an average of $979 on their Branson vacation this year, +0.8% increase over 2015 s spending per party. In addition, Branson Landing visitors spend more than the Branson visitors overall, spending nearly $165 more than the average Branson visitors ($816). Overnight tourists stay for 4 nights per stay. 9
