We are a comfortable, eclectic place with a modern country hotel feel. Nestled in the picturesque market town of Helmsley in North Yorkshire, we are located only 25 miles away from York and 31 miles away from the coast. 4 Bedrooms We have 20 suites and 13 bedrooms, four fabulous function rooms and lots of other cosy areas to hide away for a private meeting or event. Use of the award winning Verbena Spa facilities are included in all of our overnight packages and the spa provides the perfect relaxing escape after a meeting or before sitting down to enjoy dinner.

5 Verbena Spa The Verbena Spa relaxation lounge is defined by plump cushions, sofas you sink into, and views across the south facing terrace garden. The spa houses six single treatment rooms and one couples room, in which guests can experience a tandem therapy, perfect for couples or ladies who would like to have a chat whilst they re pampered. The spa has an extensive Heat Experience including an aromatherapy room, a steam room, saunarium, monsoon shower and foot spas. All residents have complimentary access to the spa and the heat experience facilities as well as the outdoor heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi during their stay from check in until check out.

6 The food at the Feversham Arms is deeply rooted in the landscape that surrounds the hotel. Game, shellfish, lamb, beef and farmhouse cheeses are all plentiful. They are prepared in a way that we like to call real food, made with the understanding that quality isn t always complicated.

7 Private Dining Private dining is something we do well. For parties of 10 guests or less you can choose from either our Seasonal Market Menu or the À la Carte menu on the day. For guests we offer a 3 choice menu and for groups of 16 and over a set menu. Our restaurant offers quality food with flair and we like to offer a variation, especially if you are staying more than one night. We are also used to working with an array of different dietary requirements.

9 Library The library is really a residents lounge, with books and newspapers to read as well as a hotel laptop and small conference desk. Close the doors and this is perfect for informal meetings of up to four. This room is also a great breakout room for larger meetings and somewhere to host pre dinner drinks before being taken through to your private dining room. Room Hire 100

11 Snug This cosy room is just off the restaurant. With exposed stone walls and dimmed mood lighting this is perfect for private dining for up to 20 guests on one large table. 12 Boardroom The Boardroom is a lovely long room with a large window allowing for natural daylight and a fabulous view of the pool and courtyard. The ideal set-up for this room is with our large oval table which can seat up to 16 guests. This room is great for smaller meetings and creates the perfect setting for intimate private dinners. 15 Churchill Suite This light and airy room overlooks the herb garden patio and has easy access to the bar lounge area. We can either offer a large rectangular table for a maximum of 24 guests or several round tables for up to 32 guests. This room is perfect for larger team meetings and presentations as well as bigger family or group celebration dinners. 23 Visitors from r and wide The hotel nestles on the edge of the North York Moors, yet within 20 minutes of the A1M and easily reached from York, Leeds, and Teesside. Helmsley is approximately 10 miles from Sutton Bank on the A170 as you head towards the coast from Thirsk. The area has a wealth of attractions including walking, cycling, horse riding and various RHS and stately gardens. The pretty villages and seaside towns such as Whitby and Goathland, as well as the Steam Railway and historic city of York, are just a stones throw away. Step outside the doors of the hotel and you ll find yourself in the heart of the market town of Helmsley, ideal for boutique shopping, delicatessens, superb art galleries, antique shops and much more.
