2 Greetings from the President of the Government of Cantabria A more consolidated celebration Superdeportivos Cantabria celebrates this year another edition and consolidates itself as one of the most important events of its kind in the country for the fans of supercar meetings, who will have a unique opportunity to enjoy the show that these exclusive models bring. Nobody overlooks that economic difficulties complicate the organization of any event and this is why the merit is even bigger. This event is a clear example of effort and consistency, and plays in favour in this case both of sport and tourism, a collaboration that we are promoting from the Government of Cantabria in all areas. On top of an excellent organization, we must take into account the value added by the astonishing Cantabrian landscapes, which the participants will be able to discover through planned routes, so the result can t be different than in previous editions: an absolute success. Its impact on the region in terms of tourism, hotels and commerce is indisputable, because very few events manage to concentrate hundreds of people passionate about supercars like this one. For this reason, I would like to extend my sincere congratulation to the organizers for their firm belief of having in our land this event, the biggest of its kind in Spain. But Superdeportivos Cantabria would be nothing if it wasn t for the full support of the Cantabrian fans and the enthusiasm of the people who take part in it. 3 Greetings from the Mayor of Santander The Superclassic of the Superdeportivos Cantabria Ciudad de Santander Between the 15th and the 20th of May, Superdeportivos Cantabria will come back home for the twelfth time. It is a true superclassic of the motoring world. The beauty of the cars and their distinctive sound will turn the streets of our city into a great show. Santander welcomes with its warmest hospitality this event, unmissable for all the people passionate about sports-cars. I am convinced that those who will take part in it, arrived from very distant places all across Europe, also consider these days in the Cantabrian capital as a meeting impossible to miss. Their presence in the city and the exhibition of the cars participating in this edition will draw once again the attention and attract the looks of the people of Santander and visitors. Santander is proud to play host to this car show, an event that both fans and casual visitors enjoy. It has become a true classic of the city each spring. With more illusion, more cars, more sponsors, higher attendance, more glamour and more possibilities, the experiences that we have prepared for this new edition will surely come as a surprise to everyone coming. A first taste of it will come in the form of a dream on wheels, with the likes of GTA Spano, Maserati, Porsche, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Bentley, TVR, Corvette, Mercedes AMG, Nissan Nismo, Audi, BMW, Pantera de Tomaso, McLaren, Mustang, Jaguar, Viper, Alfa Romeo, Escalibur... participating in a parade through the streets of Santander, filling the city with luxury, beauty and art in motion. This May, we will feel during five days the heartbeat of the cars, we will taste high-quality gastronomic delights, we will visit extraordinary places across the Cantabrian geography, embrace unique accommodation and, most of all, we will enjoy every second as if it was the last one. 12 Registration Policy Registration: 1. Fill out the Registration Form. 2. The Organization will authorize or deny by each application based on the characteristics of the car. 3. Changes can be made to the Taylor-made package if given enough notice. 4. It is necessary to confirm your attendance to access the Parque de Las Llamas and participate in the scheduled events. 5. Restaurant s capacity is limited. Reservations will be made in strict order of registration. 6. To secure your participation, the payment must be done before the 10th of May Registration closes on the 10th of May Bookings for the Hotel Santemar must be done before the 1st of April For the other hotels, the deadline is the 31st of April 2019, since there are numerous events in the city and the hotel occupancy is high. Normative: 1. SDC accreditation is personal and non-transferable. 2. The participants must follow at all times the instructions given by the SDC security personnel. 3. Only the supercars properly accredited will be able to take part in the Grand Parade. Confirmation of such authorization will be communicated to the participant when they receive confirmation of their participation in the event. 4. All cars must be present at the Gala Dinner, as well as all the other events. Punctuality is appreciated. 5. On drive outs, please make sure that you have enough fuel to avoid unnecessary stops. 6. The Grand Parade and the routes marked by the organization are common roads open to the traffic. Spanish traffic rules must be respected at all times, as well as instructions given by the SDC organization security personnel. Please respect the speed limits, maintain safety distances and avoid dangerous acceleration and overtaking. Breaking Spanish traffic rules may invalidate participants insurance and liability cover in the event of a law-suit. Superdeportivos Cantabria cannot accept liability for a driving misconduct. 7. If someone breaks the rules, he will be given a reprimand. This is a life-style event, not a rally. SIDE-NOTE: The organization reserves the right to change partially or totally the program of the event. It reserves the right to deny admission to participants that in earlier SDC events have acted in a manner likely to bring the event into disrepute.
