2 NICOYA PENINSULA, COSTA RICA Southern Nicoya Peninsula Hosting three natural park reserves, all home to unique species of wildlife, making the southern Nicoya a one of its kind location in Costa Rica. A micro-climate in the area produces mild tropical conditions with fresh ocean breezes throughout the year. From November through April, the dry season prevails with low humidity and mostly hot and sunny weather. Early May and continuing through October is the rainy season, beginning with late afternoon or evening showers, increasing to torrential downpours towards the end of the of greens woven into the landscape. In terms of lifestyle, this area has been home to a large and growing international community with a wide variety of interests. Initially the area saw an influx of surfers and exotic travelers that soon gave space to artists, hoteliers, restaurateurs and European expats; nonetheless, in the last five years this incoming population have incorporated a number of A-listers including Hollywood homeowners, among them Mel Gibson, Leonardo Di Caprio, Giselle Bundchen whom both own outstanding properties within 1 to 35 km of the Bellevue project. Additional activities besides world-class surfing include sports fishing, deep water and recreational diving, an 18 hole golf course located 20mins away. Yoga retreats and meditational spaces are also widely spread over the area. Cabuya Montezuma Mal Pais Cabuya is situated at the southern tip of the Nicoya peninsula, at 7km from Mal Pais (surfer s beach), 7 km from Montezuma and 2 km from the Cabo Blanco reserve, Costa Rica s oldest protect wildlife region. While Montezuma and Mal Pais are well developed tourist destinations Cabuya yet maintains the - tranquility of a typical Costa Rican fishermen village surrounded by wild na ture.

From there it is a beautiful -20 minute- flight down to Tambor which sits within a half an hour ride to the Bellevue Cabuya Finca. Car access is also provided by driving down to Puntarenas (45 minutes), take the ferry over the Gulf of Nicoya to Paquera (1 hour) and finally drive through a breathtaking landscape across Tambor, Cobano and Montezuma to Cabuya (1hour).
