From its conception, BUSHMAN has been created with every aspect of the environment in mind. We are on the way to get the Rain Forest Alliance Certification as well as partnerships with the communities. Our view is that the Mayan Community must benefit from our presence. We have spared no effort to minimize our impact on the environment by training our staff and business partners, keeping a safe distance from wildlife, and of course, advising everyone who travels with us on the best environmental behaviors and practices. We re also working on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and we support a number of environmental conservation projects. The way we see it, actions like these benefit everyone: Local communities get greater opportunities for economic development, natural habitats are properly taken care of, and participants are able to go further than anyone else, deep under the skin of the Mayan region. We need to elevate the level of awareness, and photography is my way to offer tools to help this happen. That is my window for wonder. We need to open our hearts to the aw of existence. 4 PRIVATE PHOTO TOUR You will go deep inside a wondrous ancient Mayan sites, you will become one with it; you will meet people who will transport you to the edges of time and delve into the Mayan way of life. This will be an intense photo workshop and exploration of millenary Mayan sites. The tour has been designed for photographers, both experienced and beginners, with a focus on putting you in the right place at the perfect moment to capture stunning photographs, with an emphasis on quality at all times. You may bring your own camera, or we can provide a Canon DSLR semi pro Camera for you with two lenses. This will be an adventure you will be talking about for years to come. We will take you into the intimacy of incredible sites whose secrets will be unveiled through the lens of your camera. The day is designed to present you the most photogenic locations carefully planned for the best light. With unique itineraries designed to take full advantage of every moment and discover extraordinary places unknown to mos people in the Mayan Riviera. Our aim is to raise your awareness and spark your creativity. You will learn skills to improve and expand your photographic technique in general. In addition, you will become knowledgeable on how to survey the landscape, utilize and approach your environment, photograph people indigenous to the region and the cultural considerations and challenges of photographing in a foreign country. Your adventure will be led by a private Naturalist Guideand Professional Photographer, that will be taking pictures of your experience during the day for you to have them as a gift. CENOTE Created by the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater underneath. These unique formations are among the most beautiful natural wonders one can find in the Mayan Riviera. MUYIL RUINS The settlement extends across 38 hectares of jungle and was one of the earliest settlements on the Caribbean Coast. The Castillo (pyramid) is 57 feet high, the highest pyramid on the Riviera Maya Coast. Muyil Ruins is small, lush, has few visitors, and feels magical. The site is the nexus of the largest network of stone causeways of the ancient Mayan world, and it contains many engraved and sculpted stelae that document ceremonial life and important events of the Late Classic Period (AD ) of Mesoamerican civilization.

23 6 PRIVATE EXPERIENCE BIRDWATCHING IN MUYIL, CENOTE & ECO PATH This workshop + tour is designed for those who love Birdwatching. Mexico has 1,150 bird species from the 10,507 species that are known in our planet. Mexico is positioned in the 11th place for the number of bird species around the world. With 104 endemic species. This is a magical place full of; frigates, Brown pelicans, boobies, cormorants, herons, egrets, anhinga, ospreys, white ibis, limpkins, wood storks, ducks, hawks, jays, motmots, trogons and hummingbirds. The tour starts before sunrise with an early pick up at 5:00 am. We will start our journey at the local community of Muyil in Sian Kaan Biosphere Natural Reserve. Just 30 minutes from Tulum. Taking pictures of the sunrise in a pristine lagoon over the turquoise water, a great photogenic location carefully chosen for best landscape photography. It was the seat of a Mayan kingdom. From the Preclassic until the Postclassic period. The site is noted for the preservation of the plaster on the tomb of Ukit Kan Lek Tok, a king buried in the side of the largest pyramid. It eventually became the capital of the polity that controlled the region around the beginning of the Common Era. The Oval Palace contained burial relics and its alignment

41 FLY FISHING Cancun light tackle fishing or fly fishing is a year round event.the lagoons of Cancun hold baby Tarpon and Snook year round and plenty of Jacks, Snappers, Barracudas and Ladyfish. In the summer months of Cancun fly fishing really picks up when the Permit and Bonefish start to show up so the chance of a Grand Slam ( Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit) or Super Slam (Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit, Snook) is out there. After the tour you will recieve a link to a dropbox folder with every photo, and we will also create a folder for you to share and see the pictures taken by the photo director. How is the weather? The year-round temperature is in the range of 25 to 33 degrees celcius, and humidity will make you sweat all day, so be prepared to drink lots of water. Rain is common during the nights of september and october. Language? We have staff who speak english, and spanish. please state your language preference during your booking. We will be happy to help you hier an interpreter in case you need it. Do I need to pay an extra fee for the entrance to any of the sites we will visit?
