2 Welcome Welcome to Starwood Luxury Privileges, our exclusive invitation-only program for sellers of luxury travel. Luxury Privileges gives your company access to the largest luxury hotel portfolio in the world and access to personalized privileges (amenities) and special touches that enhance your clients experience. Participating Starwood brands are St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, W Hotels and select iconic hotels and resorts. An exclusive rate plan (Luxury Privileges) is available that allows you to offer your clients the following benefits. 5 Let the journey begin with Luxury Privileges YOUR COLLECTION OF TOOLS Now that you are a member of Luxury Privileges, let s review the tools available: STEP ONE: Review the Luxury Privileges portfolio with your team which contains: Brochure Hotel and resort directory STEP TWO: Ensure each team member creates an account at starwoodluxuryprivileges.com. The site features: Dedicated Luxury Privileges booking page that includes: Digital version of our hotel and resort directory for the program Listing of the privileges at all participating hotels & resorts Luxury Privileges logo to add to your signature that conveys you are a member List of key contacts at our luxury hotels and resorts, including General Managers, Directors of Sales & Marketing and Concierges. Access to our communications to stay up to date on the latest Luxury Privileges news To receive these communications, when creating your profile, check the box in the Preferences section for Send me communications about Luxury Privileges. Team members who already have an account can check their profile, by selecting Log In/Edit Profile upon logging in and ensure the appropriate box is checked. STEP THREE: Get rewarded for your work with SPG Pro. Log in or create an account at spg.com/pro Add your SPG Pro member account number to all Luxury Privilege bookings to earn rewards. Log in to spg.com/pro to access our multimedia training library, rates for your personal stays and more. 5

6 How to Book Luxury Privileges THREE EASY WAYS TO ACCESS THE LUXURY PRIVILEGES RATE PLAN Starwood makes it easy for you to book Luxury Privileges. Please ensure you always include your company credential (IATA, ARC, CLIA, TRUE or TIDS*) in your preferred booking method. Plus, STARCOM is our commission processing solution that allows you to track your commissions. Log on to wpsnetwork.com for commission reports, tracking and more. Reservations can be confirmed through the following channels: OPTION 1: STARWOODLUXURYPRIVILEGES.COM OPTION 2: Any Starwood Customer Contact Center OPTION 3: All Global Distribution Systems (GDS) 6 * To receive a TIDS credential: Visit iata.org and fill out the application form for TIDS. Ask your Starwood Account Director for one reference letter and submit all documents to TIDS.

7 OPTION 1: STARWOODLUXURYPRIVILEGES.COM STEP ONE: Log in to StarwoodLuxuryPrivileges.com STEP TWO: Once you are logged in, your agency credential will appear in the upper right corner of the page. STEP THREE: Use the Search & Book section to select a hotel and check availability. STEP FOUR: Select Book Now to proceed to complete your booking.. 7

8 STEP FIVE: All available room types will appear. Choose the room type and make sure the rate is listed as Luxury Privileges. STEP SIX: Make sure to add your client s SPG number as well as your SPG Pro number so you both can earn rewards for your bookings OPTION 2: ANY STARWOOD CUSTOMER CONTACT CENTER Call one of our worldwide customer contact centers to book Luxury Privileges. Link to our global toll-free numbers: Click here for a list of phone numbers. Advise the call center agent that you are a travel professional and a member of Starwood Luxury Privileges. Provide the call center agent with SET # and request the Luxury Privileges rate plan. Make sure to give the call center agent your SPG Pro member number so you can earn rewards. 8 How to Book Luxury Privileges

9 OPTION 3: ALL GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS Please review the formats that must be implemented on the HIC and HST tables before you can search for the Luxury Privileges rate plan in Sabre. Agencies using all other GDS types or Sabre users who have implemented their tables can begin to search and book the Luxury Privileges rate plan as follows: STEP ONE: Log into the GDS and search for a negotiated rate using the rate access code LXV (for all GDS). If you use our chain code (SW), it should be entered in the city search Instead of using our chain code, you can choose to enter in one of the luxury brand codes: XR = St. Regis LC = The Luxury Collection WH = W Hotels WI = Westin (please note there are only five iconic Westins in Europe that participate in Luxury Privileges) SABRE EXAMPLE: The transaction to search for the Starwood hotels in Bangkok that participate in the Luxury Privileges program using our chain code is: HOTBKK/15SEP-1NT2/RC-N LXV/SW This is what displays after entering in the above transaction: Bangkok has 3 hotels that participate with the Luxury Privileges program: W Bangkok, Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, a Luxury Collection Hotel and The St. Regis Bangkok. There is an N in the N/C column which shows the participating hotels. 9

STEP THREE: Make sure to add your SPG Pro member number to your Luxury Privilege bookings to earn Starpoints. Please work with your Starwood Account Director to gain access to the specialist team. Our support specialists are available 24/7 to help with your clients needs and to also provide that level of anticipatory service that keep luxury customers loyal and coming back to you. Have you contacted your Starwood Account Director with who should receive access to the Luxury Privileges Support Specialists? Has each team member added the Luxury Privileges logo to their signature? Has each member of your team signed up to receive our Luxury Privileges enewsletter to stay up to date with Luxury Privileges news? If utilizing Sabre, has each member of your team updated their GDS formats? Has each team member created an account with SPG Pro and are they adding their number to each of their Luxury Privilege bookings? 14 Frequently asked questions Q: We are unable to view Luxury Privilege rates in the GDS, what do we do? A: Please review the transaction for your GDS bookings made on the Luxury Privileges rate plan. Q: We have a Sabre PCC and we are unable to find the Luxury Privilege rates available at any hotel when searching, what do we do? A: Confirm that the HIC and HST tables have been set up for each Sabre PCC. If the tables have been set up, please contact your Starwood Account Director with the following information: Hotel you checked (please include the city) and dates checked. They will contact technical support to trouble-shoot the issue. Q: We have an Apollo or Galileo PCC and are unable to find the Luxury Privilege rates available for any Starwood hotel when searching, how do we resolve? A: The pillow key for your system must be used in the transaction between the city code and the LXV rate code. Q: How can the Luxury Privileges Support Specialists help with my bookings? A: Luxury Privileges Support Specialists are available to help you after you have confirmed your client s booking. They can help you deliver that extra special attention to your clients and make sure they know that extra attention comes from you. Restaurant recommendations and reservations, spa reservations or having their favorite snack available are just a few of the ways the Luxury Privileges Support Specialists can help you enhance your bookings.
