Running away from the pursuit of king s son Apsyrtus, Jason and Medea killed Apsyrtus by fraud, and casted parts of his body into the sea. A legend says that the Osor islands, once merged Cres and Lošinj, arose from Apsyrtus. 14 ABOUT THE HOTEL The Hotel Aurora has 393 spacious, comfortably furnished single and double rooms and suites with sea or park view, as well as rooms specially adapted for people with disabilities. Each room has a bathroom and a balcony, while the suites consist of bedroom and living room. Rooms are air-conditioned, with satellite TV, free Internet access, telephone, minibar and safe. For each guest, there is a bag with beach towels prepared. In the bathroom you can find high-quality natural cosmetics with lavender and orange essential oils trademark scents of the Hotel Aurora. Bathrobe and slippers are also prepared for every guest. The Hotel Aurora is only 20 minutes away from the center of Mali Lošinj. Not far from the Hotel, next to the sea, there is a children playground shaded from the sun by centennial pines.
