General Information Thank you for choosing Tour America. Please read the following notes carefully as there are important details in relation to your booking. Booking Conditions All deposits on flights, hotels, cars and packages are nonrefundable and non transferable unless otherwise advised. Some flights may require payment in full at the time of booking, in this instance this cost is non refundable. Full booking conditions are available on on our website, in our brochure and in our booking forms. Passports and Documentation All names must be as your passport. Your passport must be valid for at least six months after your return date from the US. All Irish Passport holders visiting America, including children and infants, require an individual machine readable passport to avail of the US Visa Waiver Programme. Non-Irish passport holders should check with their embassy, or the US Embassy, for their specific requirements. Please note that security regulations may require us to provide government agencies access to data you disclose. You will be required to provide US Immigration with a complete address of where you will be staying while in the US. Failure to do this can result in denied entry into the US. API INFORMATION The US introduced legislation, which took effect on 4th October 2005, requiring all airlines flying to the US to give more information about their customers. This data is commonly known as API or APIS (Advance Passenger Information). The additional data now required by the US Immigration Authorities includes a first night address for each non-us citizen or US resident, as well as country of residence and also passport details for each member of your party. Since the 7th March 2006, all airlines will be supplying the required information to the US Authorities. To avoid inconvenience for our clients we are asking you to provide your information before you get to the airport. You can help to achieve this by choosing one of the following options: (a) You can provide your information online by logging onto the relevant airline website. To do this you will require your airline booking reference which will be supplied on your confirmation invoice. (b) If you do not have internet access you may contact our office on where we will be able to document your information on your behalf. Once you have departed, you need to reconfirm your flight with the airline locally at least 48 hours prior to departure. Tickets Airline Tickets may be in the form of e-ticketing which is a paperless ticket. Delays and Cancellations Should your flight be delayed or cancelled please contact your accommodation and advise them of this delay. The details are on your itinerary Product Vouchers Please print any car, hotel, transfer or service vouchers you receive from Tour America and bring them with you on your trip. Once you have received your documentation, please take the time to read them carefully and make sure that all details are correct.
