2 WASH FIRST BEFORE USING It is important to wash cookware thoroughly before initial use. Thoroughly cleaning your cookware will remove any traces of manufacturing oils or polishing compounds. If the cookware is not pre-washed, it may discolor when heated. Using a dishcloth or sponge, wash each utensil in hot, soapy water to which 1 cup of vinegar has been added per gallon of water. After washing, rinse thoroughly with hot water and towel dry for a mirror like finish. Keep your cookware looking its best! Golden brown or blue heat tints may result from over-heating. White spots may occur from minerals present in food or water. These temporary blemishes can be removed easily by following the procedure below. Rinse pan with hot water and sprinkle with the Saladmaster stainless steel cleaner. Create a paste using a dry paper towel, rub in circular motion. Wash well in hot, soapy water to remove all cleanser, rinse and dry with a clean towel. Never use steel wool or hard abrasive on the outside surface of the cookware. DO NOT use a cleanser containing chlorine bleach. Note: Dishwasher cleaning will not completely remove heat or food films left on utensils. Remove films by following the directions above before dishwasher cleaning. EXCLUSIONS: This warranty does not apply to damage caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, commercial use, neglect, tampering, alterations, ordinary wear and tear, damage in transit, damage due to environmental or natural elements, or service by unauthorized personnel. Product that has been damaged by use with excessively high heat; or product that is flaking (exclusion applies to stainless steel products only), stained, discolored, marked, scratched, warped, or pitted indicates use other than that recommended by the manufacturer, will not affect the performance of the product, and is not covered by this warranty.
