6 METALLIC EF EF Economy Grade Liquid Tight Conduit CONSTRUCTION: EF conduit has a flexible hot dipped galvanised steel core made from spiral wound corrosion resistant plated steel. It contains nylon cord packing with smooth outer flexible PVC sheath extruded over the core. EF is UV stabilised. APPLICATION: Used in general installations requiring some movement and protection for contained conductors. Forms a liquidtight system when installed with standard connectors for use indoors and outdoors. 8 METALLIC LT LT General Purpose Liquid Tight Conduit CONSTRUCTION: LT has a flexible hot dipped galvanised steel core made from spiral wound corrosion resistant plated steel and contains nylon cord packing. 10 METALLIC LT/LOR LT/LOR Premium Grade Liquid Tight Conduit Hot and Cold Environments CONSTRUCTION: LT/LOR has a flexible hot dipped galvanised steel core and contains a nylon cord packing. A smooth high/low temperature flexible PVC sheath is extruded over the core and allows a wide operational temperature range. The product is UV stabilised. APPLICATION: Type LT/LOR is well suited for exposure to extreme climatic conditions. It is also widely used on industrial process equipment such as annealing ovens, water treatment plants, foundries, refrigeration, etc. Uses standard liquidtight connectors. 12 METALLIC LA LA Outstanding Protection / UL Listed CONSTRUCTION: LA is manufactured from spiral wound strip of heavy gauge, hot dipped galvanised steel. It contains within the convolutions an enclosed integral copper bonding strip. The smooth outer PVC sheath extruded over the core is flexible, liquid tight, high quality U.V. stabilised and flame retardant. APPLICATION: Specific for direct burial and in poured concrete, containment of 600 volt and lower potential circuits, hazardous locations under raised floors in data processing areas, electric signs and outline lighting over 1,000 volts, feeders and services at marinas and boatyards, elevators, hoist ways, pools, fountains, fire pumps. 14 METALLIC CEA CEA Low fire Hazard Flexible conduit CONSTRUCTION: CEA is made from spiral wound, hot dipped galvanised steel core and contains a nylon cord packing. The smooth outer flexible thermoplastic polyurethane sheath extruded over the core is halogen free and flame retardant. This product has low smoke and low toxicity characteristics and acidic gases (hydrogen chloride, hydrogen fluoride and hydrogen bromide) are virtually eliminated as products of combustion. APPLICATION: Used in confined or enclosed areas where construction materials must have halogen free limited smoke, low flame spread and low toxic gas emission in event of fire. E.g. transit vehicles wiring harnesses, passenger rail cars, underground subway structures and tunnels. 16 METALLIC ATX ATX Extreme Temperature / Halogen Free CONSTRUCTION: ATX has a Flexible inner core made from spiral wound, hot dipped galvanised steel and contains nylon cord packing. The thermoplastic rubber jacket is capable of withstanding nominated extreme temperatures. The material has a rating of UL94-H is halogen free and oil and sunlight resistant. APPLICATION: Used in situations where concerns of resistance to temperature exposure exist. These include heavy outdoor equipment, boilers, furnaces, transit vehicles and sub zero areas.
