2 After hours, please refer to signage in kiosk window of each campground. Locate your name or confirmation # and proceed to designated campsite. Register in the morning at the kiosk by 10:00 a.m. Check In Time: Any time after 2:00 p.m. Visitors who would like to arrive at the campground earlier may enjoy the rest of the park while waiting for their campsite to become vacant (a valid national park entry pass is required). Check Out Time Before 11:00 a.m. Quiet Hours: 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Minimum Length of Stay: 1 night Maximum Length of Stay: 14 nights Maximum Persons per Site: 6 people (exceptions for 2 adults with their dependent children, up to a maximum of 7 people). Maximum Vehicles per Site: 1 vehicle. Exceptions for RVs towing a vehicle If you have two camping units (2 tents or 1 RV/camper and 1 tent), no towed vehicles are allowed. Maximum Camping Units per Site: 2 tents, or 1 RV/camper and 1 tent Generator Policy: 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Amperage of Electrical Service: 15 and 30 Amp service in all serviced campsites. Fire Policy:
3 Campfires are allowed in designated areas only in the fire pit provided. A fire permit is required. All guests require a valid fire permit to have a campfire. Fires are not permitted nightly from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. A valid fire permit allows guests access to firewood. Firewood is available at the campground woodpile. Alcohol Policy: Alcohol is not permitted from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Pet Policy: Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. They must not be left unattended. Please keep all pet food stored inside your vehicle. See Bare Campsite Program brochure upon arrival for more information. Campground Locations: Wabasso: 16 km south of the town of Jasper on Highway 93A along the Athabasca River. From the North: Take Highway 93 South from the Jasper townsite. Turn right onto Highway 93A just after passing through the south Gate. Continue for 7 km and turn left at campground entrance (follow signs). From the South: Take Highway 93 North from Saskatchewan River Crossing. Turn left at the junction with 93A at Athabasca Falls. Continue for 20 km. Turn right at campground entrance (follow signs). Wabasso Campground GPS Coordinates: Latitude: Longitude: Wapiti: 3.5 km south of the town of Jasper on Highway 93 along the Athabasca River. From the North: Take Highway 93 South from the Jasper townsite. Continue for 3.5km. Turn left at campground entrance (follow signs). From the South: Take Highway 93 North from Saskatchewan River Crossing. Continue for 155 km. Turn right at Campground entrance (follow signs). Wapiti Campground GPS Coordinates: Latitude: Longitude: Whistlers: 3 km south of the town of Jasper on Highway 93, at the base of Whistlers From the North: Take Highway 93 South from the Jasper townsite. Continue for 3km. Turn right at campground entrance (follow signs). From the South: Take Highway 93 North from Saskatchewan River Crossing. Continue for 157 km. Turn left at Campground entrance (follow signs). Whistler's Campground GPS Coordinates: Latitude: Longitude: Pocahontas: 45 km east of the town of Jasper on Highway 16, on the Miette Hotsprings Road
4 From the East: Take Highway 16 west from the Jasper East Gate. Continue for 5km. Turn left at Miette Road entrance continue for 2km and turn right into the campground (follow signs). From the West: Take Highway 16 East from the Town of Jasper. Continue for 45 km. Turn right at Miette Road entrance, continue for 2km and turn right into the campground (follow signs). Campground Descriptions: Wabasso (231 reservable sites): Electricity with fire pit: 49 sites Unserviced with fire pit: 182 sites Washrooms with hot/cold running water and flush toilets (no showers available). No pull through sites and all sites have picnic tables. Communal water taps and a dump station are available. Wapiti (320 reservable sites): Electricity with fire pit: 86 sites Unserviced with fire pit: 234 sites Washrooms with hot/cold running water, showers and flush toilets. Accessible sites available. No pull through sites and all sites have picnic tables. Communal water taps and a dump station are available. Whistlers (757 reservable sites): Electricity, water and sewer without fire pits: 77 sites Electricity, water and sewer with fire pit: 43 sites Electricity with firepits: 126 sites Unserviced with or without firepits: 491 sites Walk-in tenting (No Vehicles): 23 sites otentiks: 21 Mix of open & wooded sites. Washrooms with hot/cold running water, showers and flush toilets. Access to nearby hiking paths. Accessible sites available by reservation. Large pull through sites available in Electricity, Water and Sewer. Communal water taps and a dump station are available. Pocahontas (130 reservable sites): Unserviced with fire pit: 130 sites Washrooms with hot/cold running water and flush toilets (no showers available). No pull through sites and all sites have picnic tables. Communal water taps are available. Roofed Accommodation Description: otentiks: Located in Whistlers campground (21 otentiks) The otentik sites include: - 1 otentik (14 ft x 17.5 ft; 4.3 m X 5.3 m); - fire box; - picnic table;
5 - food locker (24 X 24 X 42 ; 60 cm X 60 cm X 105 cm); - parking site for one vehicle. The otentik sites do not include: - bedding - a stove - cooking utilities or dishes Smoking is not permitted in the otentiks. The otentiks are located in loops 04 and 05. For safety reasons, no cooking, storing or eating food is allowed inside the otentiks (upon arrival campground staff will provide information on camping safely in bear country). Pets are NOT allowed in the otentiks, except for 4A and 4B which are now pet friendly. Internet/Wi-Fi Access: There is no Wi-Fi internet access at any campgrounds in Jasper National Park. Fees: For information regarding camping fees for Jasper National Park please see our Fees page. If There is No Vacancy for Your Dates: There are 6 other non-reservable (first-come, first-served) campgrounds in Jasper National Park all unserviced. Also, outside the park to the east there are two private campgrounds in the Hinton area (1 hr) and to the west there is private camping in Valemount and Mount Robson Provincial Park (1 hr). Please do not call the park to verify the occupancy of the non-reservable sites, as the park office does not have access to this information. Whirlpool Group Camping located on Highway 93A 24 km south of the town of Jasper. 15 people minimum. Can accommodate trailers up to 25 feet in designated parking area. Pit toilets.
