President s report: Rick welcomed the members and wished a Happy Birthday to all those celebra#ng in September and hope everyone has a good summer. Several members aeended the Tri Five Na#onals at Bowling Green, Kentucky and had a great #me. Dave s car broke during the quarter mile run but s#ll managed to enjoy the en#re event. There were over 2000, Chevy s at the event and gave away a 56 Chevy. The event held a 50/50 drawing and the winner received $6,000. Rick announced all the upcoming Car shows for September for more info please check the calendar. Atlan#c City trip is scheduled for February 11, 2017 two buses will be reserved, hope we can sell both. The club picnic will be held on September 18, the club will provide food, deserts and drinks, members are asked to bring a side dish, please make every effort to aeend. Wayne is hos#ng a Luau at his house on September 10 from 5-9pm to benefit Orphan Grain Train, #ckets are $50 per person. Don t forget Gino s on Wednesday nights. Al collected over $330 of dona#ons from businesses to help support the Veterans Show. Al also thanked the members for including his sons birthdays noted in the newsleeer. Wishing all the best of health to George Miller, Molly Boyd, John Pulver, Bill Hall, and Doug Prinkey. Treasures report: None New Members: None 50/50 winner was Norman who won $49. Mee#ng ended at 8:38pm with a prayer. The Street Survivors of Maryland, Inc. is a 501c Not for Profit Organization. The objectives of this club are to promote interest in the preservation and enjoyment of old cars, accessories and associated lore, and to enjoy the companionship of their owners. Also to raise funds for charitable organizations or individuals deemed needy by the Board and General Membership. 2
