2 February 2014 Greetings Dads and Sons, My name is Tony Cocita and my son s name is Anthony. We are your new Trail Boss for the upcoming 2014 year. I first want to thank the outgoing Trail Boss, Tim and Aaron Organiscak for a great year in Their hard work and dedication along with the assistance of their officer group created a lot of opportunities for dads and sons to make some great memories last year. I hope everyone had a chance to make some memories. With that being said it s now time to move onto the New Year. This past weekend 5 cabins worth of Trailblazers made a trip out to Punderson State Park to enjoy a weekend of sledding and swimming. It was a great weekend filled with cold, snow, and good times between fathers and sons. If you missed it, don t worry, there is another camp coming up in April out at Maumee State Park. Check the Trail News for more information. Coming up on Friday Jan. 31 st is Snow Tubing out at Brandywine Ski resort with the Senior Princesses. Then in February we have the Adventure Princess Mardi-Gras party fundraiser for the Adventure Princesses. Please help support all of the groups, tickets still available. Also in February we have scheduled a Trail Blazer family event out at the Q for a Monsters game. Join us for a great time. March 1 st is the Adventure Guides Night at the Races fundraiser. This is a great time and it helps support the Adventure Guides program which is the main feeder program for the Trail Blazers. Tickets are also still available. There are many more events scheduled, please check your Trail News for event registration information. If you haven t registered at the YMCA you still have time. Talk to your son s friends and see if they want to join with their dads. They can join at any time and we welcome any new members whether they ve been in the Adventure Guides program or are completely new to the organization. That s it for now, keep checking your Trial News for events and Anthony and I look forward to seeing you around a campfire or an event at some point. Registration forms will be available in the newsletter or online at Complete the Name and Address information in the top box. Complete the Registration information section, checking the appropriate boxes for adult, child, YMCA membership status, gender and appropriate parent-child program. The cost for one year membership to the Ridgewood YMCA Adventure program is: YMCA Family YMCA Program Non-YMCA Member* Member** Member*** Family Membership $45.00 $60.00 $85.00 Payment methods: Cash, Check, or Credit Card. If paying by check, please make payment out to RIDGEWOOD FAMILY YMCA. *YMCA Family Membership gives you full access to the Greater Cleveland YMCA s along with a reduced rate on all programs. **YMCA Program Member Must have already purchased program membership for $ Please note: Program Memberships are good for one year. You will fall under the Non- YMCA member pricing if your Program Membership has expired. ***Fee includes 1 year Family Program Membership. (Program membership fee enables you to sign up for programs only at the Ridgewood YMCA) There is no additional fee for the father if he is also registering for the other Adventure Programs.
