2 1. ANOIS 2016 INTRODUCTION ANOIS (pronounced ah-nish, the Irish word for now ) is an annual residential organised by the Church of Ireland Youth Department for young people of secondary school age from across the island. We want to encourage young people to explore faith NOW : Remember your Creator in the days of your youth- Ecclesiastes 12:1 We gather to learn from the Bible, to praise God, to pray and of course to have as much fun together as we can possibly squeeze into one weekend! The theme chosen for this year s event is Legends of the Faith. This year at our worship times, we will be exploring the stories of old testament heroes. Their stories will inspire us to live out our Christian faith in everyday life. We are delighted to announce that Rev Alan Breen (Curate St Patrick s Church Greystones Diocese of Dublin) will be our main speaker at the event... not only that but the Mark Ferguson Band will return to lead worship. TRAYBAKE APPEAL Anois Café Team would appreciate all offers of traybakes for the café. So if you can, please edhardy70@gmail.com or text with offers of help. Thanks!
