2 Parents, We are so excited to experience how God speaks to us through the Bible, Prayer, and Others with your kids at Road Trip 2012! It s going to be a great time with friends, leaders and God. We will have fun with messy games, worship, art, drama, bible study... and more messy games. We know that it is a big step to entrust your kids to others, and we do not take this responsibility lightly. Just know that your kids will be able to absorb the truths they learn in a safe, and exciting environment. We love your kids, Jason & Robyn Jason Underhill, Children s Pastor Robyn Collins, Children s Treehouse Minister Camp Linden Information Rt. 4, Box 131 Linden, TN Positioned along side the Buffalo River in the scenic hills of Middle Tennessee, Camp Linden is located approximately 6.5 miles south of the town Linden, Tennessee in Western Tennessee. Camp Linden offers many activities: tubing, swimming pool, hiking trail, volleyball, basketball, foosball, ping pong, bonfire area, river walk with picnic area. Directions to Camp Linden: From I 40, take exit 143 (Linden/Waverly) and drive South on Hwy 13. Approximately 22 miles south of I 40, Hwy 412/100 will cross Hwy 13. Continue straight on Hwy 13. Drive approximately 6.5 miles and you will see a sign for Linden Valley on the left. Turn left at the sign and follow the road 1 mile directly to the Camp.

3 WHAT TO BRING: Dress is casual throughout camp. One light bag is best. Remember to clearly mark each item with the camper s name. Bible Pen / Pencil Blanket/Sleeping bag Blue jeans/long pants Camera (inexpensive) Flashlight Goggles Hat/Sunglasses Insect repellent Jacket (lightweight) Laundry bag Medications (if applicable) Pajamas Messy clothes Sheets (twin size) Shoes (two pairs) Shorts Socks Sunscreen (lotion only, no spray sunscreen) Swimsuit (one piece) Toiletries (toothbrush & paste, soap, shampoo, etc.) Towels (bath & pool) Tops or t-shirts Pillow with case bunk mail If you wish to send notes to your camper while they are away, we will accept these at registration and distribute them during camp. ITEMS NOT ALLOWED AT CAMP: CD players/ I pods /all handheld games/cell phones/spaghetti strap tank tops/water guns/candy

4 Behavior Expectations All campers are expected to comply with the following behavior expectations. Obey the trainer and follow camp rules and guidelines, including: wake up when the trainer asks follow directions no talking after lights out. Be respectful of others (i.e. calling others names, physical harm, fits of rage, etc.). Be on time to all activities. Participate in all activities when physically possible. Encourage others at all times. Always stay in groups of at least three. Let the trainer know where the camper is at all times. No boys in girls cabins. No girls in boys cabins. No exceptions. Use good manners at meals (i.e. no belching, throwing food, etc.) Should a camper choose to not comply with any of the above behavior expectations, the following discipline procedures will be followed. 1st Step Discuss with trainer. Although a camper may be singled out for misconduct, misbehaving incidents will be discussed privately between the trainer and the individual camper(s) away from the other campers in the cabin. 2nd Step Discuss with trainer, grade leader, and camp discipline personnel. It is at this point that the parents are notified of the problem. 3rd Step Discuss with trainer, grade leader, and camp discipline supervisor. At this point the camper will be dismissed from camp and the parents or guardians will be asked to come pick up their child. *** All discipline matters are private matters between the trainer(s),campers, and appropriate camp administrators. All final decisions are the responsibility of the LHBC Children s Staff.

5 Kickin It Old School Day Camp Camper Schedule: Registration begins daily at 8:30 a.m. Campers meet in designated Homerooms: Kindergarten: Classrooms First Grade: Classrooms Parents pick up campers in their Homeroom locations at noon each day.
