2 Villa Moniuszki Stanislawa Moniuszki Gdansk Villa Moniuszki, situated in the Zaspa district in, is a housing project divided in two parts One of these, with a sloping roof, is built for keeping the height, angle of roof and street line of the neighbouring older buildings situated next to Aleja Wojska Polskiego Street The second part of the complex are four-storey buildings with different types of flats The complex also features an underground garage and recreation area Project is not public! 2006 Schleifer Milczanowski Architekci 2

3 PGE Arena Zaglowa Gdansk The PGE Arena is a football stadium in Gdansk that was constructed for the UEFA Euro 2012 The stadiums' exterior is designed to resemble amber which has long been extracted on the Baltic coast Construction started in 2008 and completed mid-2011 It is used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Lechia Gdansk This stadium is a football stadium, which means that the turf is not ejected or changeable For that reason it also lacks an athletics track (running) The stadium has dimensions of 105x68 meters, and its distance from the grandstand is 105 m behind the goals, and 85 m from the side lines PGE Arena grandstands under the standards of FIFA and UEFA are covered, the centre which is hovering over the field however will be uncovered The issue of installing a sliding roof was considered, but the idea was abandoned due to costs and limited time to complete the construction The capacity of the stands is 44,000 spectators, all seated Project is not public! 2011 Technical engineer Client Rhode Kellermann Wawrowsky Bollinger und Grohmann City of Gdansk 3

4 Ergo Arena Gospody Gdansk Ergo Arena (Hala Gdansk-Sopot) is a multi-purpose indoor arena, that was opened in 2010 The boundary between two cities 'Sopot' and 'Gdansk' runs through the very middle of the hall The arena has a capacity of 11,409 people for sports events and up to 15,000, with standing places, for concerts Project is public!
