3 Welcome to The Food & Drink Guide Fancy a bite to eat and a few drinks? What better way to travel in and around the city than by tram. Nottingham s tram network makes it easy to travel around the local area, with trams from every 7 minutes, 7 days a week, operating until just after midnight every night. This guide gives you a taste of what is on offer, whether it is meeting your friends for lunch or going on a pub crawl, all of the businesses listed are within a 5 minute walk from one of our stops. 23 Old Market Square Tram Stop The Old Market Square is in the heart of the city and is home to the famous Lions and the Old Council House. 25 Royal Centre Tram Stop As its name suggests, the Royal Centre stop is next to the iconic Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall. With over half a million visitors to these two venues alone, this area is bustling both day and night. 30 Hucknall Tram Stop The Market town of Hucknall is our last stop and is famous for its industrial links and coal mining heritage. It is most famous for its connection with Lord Byron, as both Byron and his daughter Ada Lovelace are buried in the town and is host to the annual Lord Byron Festival. Hucknall has a popular market on Thursdays and Fridays and has a wide range of food and drink businesses, many of which are independent.
