3 Oak room wood-panelled opulence The original Royal Station Hotel was extended in 1896 and the new Klondyke Wing (as it was called) included a number of imposing public spaces none more so than the Oak room with its ornate fireplace and cut-glass chandeliers. In recent years, it has played host to awards ceremonies, charity gala auctions, annual general meetings, weddings, Christmas parties and student balls and of course we are able to offer accommodation as part of the package.
