Thursday, December 6th LUNCH BUNCH 12:15pm Lunch Bunch is an invitation to members and friends to enjoy a lunch together at a different local restaurant each month. BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION Thursday, December 13th 3-4pm In 1843 London, author Charles Dickens finds himself in financial trouble after writing three unsuccessful novels in a row. Desperate for a hit, Dickens relies on real-life inspiration and his vivid imagination to bring Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim and other classic characters to life in "A Christmas Carol." 50+ DROP-IN CRAFTS Come and make crafts with us Tuesday December 11th in the Community Centre Craft Room. COFFEE WITH FRIENDS Coffee with friends is held every Tuesday from 9am until 11am in the Community Centre lounge. It is an open friendly drop in group with lots of laughter. New faces are very welcome. Often there is even a treat to have with your coffee and every so often we head out into the community as a group to enjoy a meal. EVERYONE WELCOME! Everyone is invited to this informal birthday party for cake and entertainment to celebrate those with birthdays this month! Cake is compliments of Thrifty Foods. Gluten or sugar free options by request. ENTERTAINMENT River City Ukes DROP-IN POTTERY The Community Centre Pottery Studio is open to the public on Tuesday evenings and Friday afternoons. A great time to work on projects that you started in class or are creating on your own. Previous pottery experience is required as there is no instruction provided. Potters are required to put away tools and clean up their area when they are finished. Clay is available to purchase for $22 per half bag. There may be an extra charge for firing some projects depending on the size of the projects. Tuesdays 6-9pm ending December 11 Fridays ending December 14 Cost $ GST NOTE: Children under the age of 14 are welcome but they must be accompanied by an adult. 3

December 22 Edward Jones is sponsoring a Free skate (1:30 4:30 pm) December 31st is the FREE FAMILY New Years Eve celebration 5:00 pm 9:00 pm. (includes free skate rentals) There will be pond hockey, skating and swimming games, reptile displays, free snacks and much more. We have a volunteer leader who is keen on sharing her talents and organizing darts for beginners and or seasoned dart players. We could offer Karaoke on Sundays 2-4pm at the Community Centre if there is enough interest. We will need a volunteer leaders. Give us a call at and put your name on the interest list. 4
