2 Leonard joined the Salesian Boys brigade in 1969 at the age of 6. He has gone through all Ranks. Playing all instruments that are used in the SB He was an automatic choice for Drum major of the Brigade and spent a long term of twenty years. He is a gold award holder of the Presidents Award Scheme and also forms part of the core team of the Salesian Brigade. He was given the Rank of Captain on the 24 th of February Leonard is the person in charge of all funds of the SB and in charge of the Upper camp Ghajn Tuffieha Project

3 Joe has been a member of the SBB since As a young lad Joe has always been active in all disciplines especially the outdoors were he achieved the Silver Award of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme (PAS). Joe has been promoted to various ranks year after year, and is now an of Officer in the rank of a Lieutenant and the secretary of the SB Core/NCO Team. He has co-responsibility of the B Company and regularly organises outdoor activities, first aid lectures and other topics to all sections. He is currently researching the history of the Brigade of the past century, keeping a scanned catalogue of all photography and important documents, and organising an archive. His primary aim is to publish a book on the history of the Brigade. Joe is a regular contributor of various articles in different journals and newsletters. He also represented the Brigade in a Fellowship and Exchanges abroad, CEP and other Committees. He has also been a member of the Corp of Drums and is a leading fifer. Currently, Joe is helping in the refurbishment and maintenance of the SB stores and equipment and has also succeeded in acquiring a generous donation of a marquee and camp tents. Joe s 36 years of experience with the Brigade has exposed him to major Oratory and National events represented by the Brigade and has been a contributor of important changes of the Salesian Brigade.

4 Fr Gerald Mangion has been the Chaplain of the Salesian Brigade since Summer 2011 when he was also ordained as a Salesian Priest. Together with the core team, he animates and helps in the development of the Salesian Brigade.

7 Jesmond joined the Brigade in 2009 after an experience in voluntary work at Savio College where he worked along side of the PFA. In 2012 Jesmond was given the Rank of Staff Sergeant. He is the person in charge of equipment for all our outdoor activities. He regularly gives lectures to both A Company and B company. He is also an active member of the SB Band.

9 Stephen joined the then called Salesian Boys Brigade in 1971 at the age of 11. He became a band member in 1973 and performed for the first time in the Good Friday procession in Valletta. Stephen participated in the Duke Of Edinburgh Award obtaining the Silver Medal. He passed through several ranks in the Brigade. In 1986 he was appointed Sergeant Major, but had to part from the SBB due to family and work commitments. In 2015 Stephen returned to help in the Corps of Drums. In February 2017 he was reinstated in the rank of Warrant Officer ( WO2)

10 Estelle joined the Salesian Brigade as one of the youngest female members to join in April She currently holds the position of Sergeant in the SB. Within the SB Estelle currently takes care of coordinating and contacting relevant authorities for obtaining funds especially with reference to EU funds. She is also an active Band member playing the Fife

12 Laurence joined the brigades in 1990, he was promoted to Lance Corporal in February 2011 and a year later he was given the rank of Corporal. In 2014 he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. He has been a member of the Salesian Brigade Band for more than 25 years playing the bass drum he has lately given way for other members to play the bass drum. Laurence is always around when fund raising activities are being held. He is also in charge of all Uniform equipment.

14 Edward joined the Salesian Brigade in August 2010, where the first event he participated in was the Centenary Summer Camp. Together with Capt. Leonard Falzon and Drum Major Andrei Cachia, today he leads the Company A and Company B music sessions on a weekly basis. He currently holds the position of Corporal within the SB. He is also an active member of the SB Band playing the Fife

16 Elinore joined the Salesian Boys & Girls Brigade in 2001 at the age of 7. She was promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal in 2011, and Corporal on the 19 th of February She forms part of the music team that teach music to A company members. She is also an active band member

19 Jacob joined the Salesian Brigade in 2008 at 14 years of. Since then Jacob has been an active member of Company B, participating in many survivals, hikes, camps, Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme (PAS) trials and rock climbing/abseiling events. He loves the adventure side of the brigade and has helped lead and coordinate various events and games through out the years. Also, having his roots in the Brigade from his family's past, with his dearly departed grandfather Salvinu Vella having been Drum Major, he also form's part of the Corp of Drums, playing the fifer. Jacob was promoted to Lance Corporal in 2014.
