8 25 August 2017 : CAA and Industry Session Preambule Agenda The seminar comprises 3 sessions. Accountable Managers should attend at least the first session and operational managers, Form 4 & Quality Managers all three sessions. Delivery of the sessions by CAASL, EU-SA-APP expert and Guest Director of Airworthiness MCAA Each session should be followed by a short open Q&A session with Part M CAASL & CAAM SARI experts and the Part M /145 EU expert sitting on the panel. Feedback are sought from the delegates to measure the effectiveness of the seminar and identify where more promotion and guidance is needed. 11 Practical Information Currency n Rupee (LKR) Exchange rate indicators taken in August2017 (indicative): 1 EUR = LKR 1 USD = LKR Indicative : Credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, Diners Club and American Express are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Credit cards may be used to obtain local currency at the airport and at all the cash dispensers. Medical and Insurance Coverage The project does not provide medical and insurance cover for the delegates. We recommend that delegates take out necessary insurance in their home country to cover accidents, medical expenses and loss of personal belonging during the visit. 10

I have also worked with various worldwide regulatory authorities i.e. DCA s of Malaysia, Oman and Kenya, BVI, FI, Bermuda, TCI, CICAA, Transport Canada, FAA, ECCAA and EASA where I worked as team member and leader on MIST / MAST inspections within Europe, USA and Canada. Where diplomacy was important having to deliver difficult and sensitive messages in the right way.
