Also included are a few newspaper cuttings about the attempt and the crash in which he died in April 1961 during his second attempt. 50 per month for 4 months RU Mac Robertson Air Race cover carried in a Boeing Monoplane by Turner & Pangborn who completed the flight from London to Australia in 92 hours, cover has British, New York, and Melbourne datestamps. RU per month for 2 months 1912 Rhein Main, Gelber Hund with Darmstadt postmarks. The airmails on the Rhine and Main in 1912 signified the origins of German airmail during which post flights took place between Frankfurt, Mainz, Offenbach am Main,Worms, and Darmstadt

ARH106A Hillmans Airways Glasgow - London first flight. ARE226C Rocket post with trial firing Sussex Downs cachet, this was Gerhard Zucker s first trial in England and it was successful. Poole hit the sea and sunk, the mail was recovered and various cachet were applied. This example features the very scarce cachet used for mail forwarded to Greece. FRONT BACK RU per month for 5 months 1936 Imperial Airways Athena crash mail. As the plane left Delhi a fire started and the crew including pilot Captain Corry Wilson were able to bail out before it was completely destroyed. The vast majority of the mail was lost, this example has a Salvaged from Air Liner Athena cachet applied.
