1 ATPCO 2018 Prices Database Occupancy and Activity, and Data Collection/Input Systems Database Occupancy Charge Database Occupancy charges are determined by the percentage of ATPCO's database each customer occupies in Passenger Automated Rules and Passenger Fares (including International Fares, US/CA Fares, AllFares, and ). Letters reflecting the percent of occupancy and a preliminary annual assessment are issued to customers in October of each year. Letters reflecting the final assessment are issued 60 days prior to the beginning of the next year. Subsequently, customers are invoiced for one-twelfth of the annual assessment each month. The minimum monthly Database Occupancy charges are USD for Fares and USD for Rules. Database Occupancy Surcharge Significant surges in fare volume result in unexpected increased data storage costs for ATPCO. To account for the unexpected costs related to fare volume increases, a Database Occupancy surcharge will be applied to customers with extraordinary fare growth. Please refer to the FAQ for more information. Database Activity Charge Database Activity charges are based on fare and rule activity and assessed on a 12-month activity measurement, similar to how the current Database Occupancy charge is calculated. Letters reflecting the percent of activity and a preliminary annual assessment are issued to customers in October of each year. Letters reflecting the final assessment are issued 60 days prior to the beginning of the next year. Subsequently, customers are invoiced for onetwelfth of the annual assessment each month. The minimum monthly Database Activity charges are USD for Fares and USD for Rules. Database Activity Surcharge Significant surges in the number of fare changes result in unexpected increased data process costs for ATPCO. To account for the unexpected costs related to fare changes, a Database Activity surcharge will be applied to customers with extraordinary fare change activity. Please refer to the FAQ for more information. Maximum Permitted Mileage Charge Maximum Permitted Mileage charges are determined by IATA each year. All participants of International and AllFares data on ATPCO's database share the cost equally. Customers are invoiced in the second quarter of each year.
