2 Definiions Used in his presenaion The Naional Aviaion Ahoriy (NAA) of each of he 28 Eropean Union (EU) Member Saes is responsible in is conry for rlemaking, cerificaion & operaional approval of: - Civil RPAS wih a MTOM <150 kg - Civil RPAS fligh crews (pilos) - Civil RPAS operaors employing he fligh crews RPAS Operaor Cerificaion Person, organizaion or enerprise engaged in or offering o engage in an RPAS operaion (ICAO definiion). Any form of recogniion ha a prodc, par or appliance, organisaion or person complies wih he applicable reqiremens, inclding he provisions of his reglaion and is implemening rles, as well as he issance of he relevan cerificae aesing sch compliance (EASA Basic Reg. Ar. 3). (The erm Cerificaion is sed becase here is no common ndersanding of he erms Ahorized & Approved ) Civil RPAS Applicaions Commercial & non-commercial aerial work (Specialised Operaions).
