PRELIMINARY REGISTRATIONS are due by 30 th June FINAL REGISTRATIONS before 30 th July INTRODUCTION: The 1 st ASIANIA Indoor Skydiving Championships consists of the following: 1st ASIANIA Indoor Skydiving Championships and CHINA Open 2018 The event is governed under the auspices of the ASIANIA Parachuting Federation. FAI Sporting Code 2018 (General Section, Sporting Code Section 5 and Competition Rules) will be applied. 2. AIMS OF THE 1 st ASIANIA Indoor Skydiving Championships & CHINA Open 2018: To determine the ASIANIA Indoor Skydiving champions (including Juniors). To create new ASIANIA Indoor Skydiving records (including Juniors). To promote the development of Indoor Skydiving in ASIANIA areas. Page 1 of 15

2 To exchange experience and strengthen friendly relations between the sport parachutists of all ASIANIA members. To allow participants to share and exchange experience, knowledge and information. 3. ORGANIZERS: The Competition is organized by ASFC (Aero Sports Federation of China), ifly, Jihua Park ifly, Sky Venture and the local government of Chongqing City, Yubei Province and under the control of the ASIANIA Parachuting Federation. 4. PERIOD OF EVENT: 18 th 23 rd September 2018 (Includes arrival 18 th and 23 rd departure) 6. LOCATION: Picture is updated on google earth on 21 July JIHUA PARK, Yubei District, Chongqing City, China is located approximately 30 kms from CHONGQING City, which is located in the southwest area of China. Jihua Park ifly has cooperated with Sky Venture, a world's leading company in the field of vertical wind tunnel simulator technology to build tunnel facilities for indoor skydiving. The technology is originated from military aviation technology (simulation system of airflow changes and aircraft performance test). Page 2 of 15

3 7. TRANSPORTATION: CHONGQING is located in the southwest area of China. CHONGQING city is 1753km away from Beijing, 1697km away from Shanghai, 1438km away from Shenzhen & Hongkong, 1294km away from Guangzhou. The best way to reach the CHONGQING city is by flight. If you wish to experience travel by train in China, you can find the high speed express train between CHONGQING and several important cities. The map below shows the relative position of major cities in China to Chongqing. 7.1 FLIGHTS TO CHONGQING. CHONGQING city travellers use the CHONGQING JIANGBEI International Airport (CQA). There are several flights connecting to China major cities. INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS: Page 3 of 15

4 Take international flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen etc. and transfer to the Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, which is only 24 kilometers from downtown CHONGQING city and it takes 40 mins to drive each way. Local transportation will cover the shuttle bus from airport to hotel when teams are arriving and departing. Organizers will prepare shuttle bus transport at train station. Note: Teams should indicate the TRAIN NUMBER in the Entry Form or their itinerary to organizers at a later date. Page 4 of 15

ACCOMMODATION 8.1 Hotels (Contact and address details will be available next Bulletin) There are two 3-4-star hotels for the competition Royal Hotel and Liangjiang Genting Grand Hotel Page 5 of 15

6 Both of them are under the management of the local government with high standard for hosting foreign guests, and there are shops, restaurants, bars, parks and other public facilities all in close proximity. 8 Hotel Lobby This hotel is antique style and it will take 35 mins drive (32km) to Chongqing Jiangbei Airport, and 7 mins drive (2.2km) to competition site. All delegation members, competition official, judge panel, jury panel, ASIANIA delegates, judge training course candidates and instructors etc. will be settled in these two hotels. For delegations, team leader or HOD may have a single room; other team members will share a double standard room with their own team members. If there is no team leader or HOD, no single room will be reserved for them. Entry fee only includes the daily room fee during competition. Laundry, food-delivery, mini-bar, taxi and other extra service consumptions are not included in the Entry Fee and must be paid to hotel by room holder before departure. You can also find more information about the hotels on Meals: The Entry Fee includes 3 (three) meals per day. Breakfast and dinner are served as buffet at the hotel restaurants. Special meals will be available on request. THE COMPETITION WILL NOT STOP DURING THE DAY; therefore, the lunch areas will be open for at least a 2 hour period to allow all competitors to have their meal. 9. JUDGING: a) Judge Conference: 18 th September 2018 b) Commencing at 9 a.m. on the 18 th September and continuing all day. All judges are expected to attend if they wish to be considered for the Official Panels. c) Judging Equipment: Indoor Skydiving equipment will include all the cameras used to record the performance, the position of which must be approved by the CJ. 12. TUNNEL INFORMATION Jihua Park ifly Indoor Skydiving Tunnels with SkyVenture technology. Jihua Park contains two ifly Wind Tunnels, located at the Ground Floor and 2 nd Floor in the Extreme Sports Centre. Both Wind Tunnels are 4.25 metres (14 feet) in diameter, maximum wind km/h. The glass wall has 6m height, flight expansion 8m, the total height is 14m. Page 9 of 15

Entry fee may also be paid during registration (BUT requires prior arrangement with organizers) and a 100 USD late fee per person will be charged. 15. ELIGIBILITY TO COMPETE: 1st ASIANIA Indoor Skydiving Championships is open to Countries/Regions that are a current financial member of the ASIANIA Parachute Federation and the FAI. China Open 2018: is open to ASIANIA members and non ASIANIA countries. Must be a current member of the FAI. Guest Only: teams that are not current members are welcome to participate in a Guest Only status but will not be eligible for official placings or awards. 16. COMPOSITION OF DELEGATION: A.
