5 Baggage Information 1 personal item and 1 carry-on Personal item Your personal item must fit under the seat in front of you. Dimensions should not exceed 18 x 14 x 8 inches (45 x 35 x 20 cm ). Carry-on requirements Shouldn t exceed 22 x 14 x 9 inches / 56 x 36 x 23 centimeters (including handles and wheels) Must fit in the sizer at the airport If your items don t fit in the overhead bin or under the seat, they may need to be checked. There may be additional carry-on bag restrictions at certain airports or on certain airplanes. We recommend labeling your carry-on the same way you do checked bags in case this happens. Soft-sided garment bags up to 51 inches / 130 cm (length + width + height) can also be taken as your carry-on item. Musical instruments are also considered a carry-on item and must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you. Liquids TSA allows certain duty-free liquids through security in your carry-on bag if they re packaged in a security tamper-evident bag. If you re traveling with liquids or are unsure about any item, please contact the TSA.

Valve oil $$ for appropriate snacks/meals on your own and shopping Cell Phone/chargers/cameras Guyer High School Seattle Trip Rules 1. All Denton Independent School District and GHS rules and policies will be in effect during this trip. 2. Students are representing Guyer High School. Any behavior or actions that might shed a negative light on GHS will be handled by directors and school administrators as needed. 3. Students must adhere to all time schedules. Failure to do so will result in being assigned to stay with a chaperone for the remainder of the trip.
7 4. Students should stay within appropriate noise limits in the airport, hotel, and the conference venue. 5. Care should be taken to only view appropriate programming on airplanes, personal devices and in the hotel. 6. Students should politely comply with all airline regulations. Students should stay in groups of 4 or more in the airport. 7. Some examples of infractions and how they will be addressed are as follows: 1. Drugs and Alcohol - Students will be turned over to the authorities which will result in them being returned to their parents at their parents expense. Upon returning to school, we will dismiss them from band program and the student will incur any school punishment that applies. 2. Students out of room after curfew Student will be sent home the expense of the parents or assigned a chaperone to accompany at all times. 3. Shoplifting or any criminal activity will result in being arrested by the Police and dismissed from the band program. 4. Absolutely no tolerance: No boys or girls shall be in the opposite sex s room. All students involved will be sent home at the expense of the parents. 5. Students must not leave with any person other than a GHS director or chaperones. Any visitors from family or friends while in Seattle must have prior Director approval (before departing Guyer) SEATTLE TEXT GROUP (Same as Wind Ensemble Text Group) to REMEMBER! The Concert is FREE!! Reception in lobby from 8-8:30 PM 11/13-11/14 MOCK ALL-REGION AUDITIONS and PLACEMENT AUDITIONS (Begin Packing TONIGHT!) 11/15 Region Phase 1 Auditions at Lewisville HS Tubas, Percussion, Euphoniums, Baritone Saxophone, French horns, Trombones will all be checked.
