2 MOR FURNITURE FOR LESS, INC. Where America Buys Furniture for Less 1. Why is a variance needed? MOR Stores are a national retail store. Consistent and high quality signage is part of the brand recognition. The configuration and design of the MOR brand is greatly enhanced and further maintained utilizing a six foot M. The 30 current stores have similar signage presentations so we are thus requesting that our sign variance application for design and signage specifications be considered and approved in order to maintain the our corporate branding. This is vital to economic success! 2. How will these signs impact the surrounding area? The only impact is of a positive nature. As the MOR Store presence brings a high quality furniture store to the City of Colton community. Mor Furniture for Less is one of the dominant furniture retailers on the West coast and one important aspect of our strategic marketing plan is to always present a consistent, impactful, and immediately recognizable brand. Mor stores endeavor to infuse each market community with redevelopment and economic growth; thus branding is critical to how we renovate the building and use signage that leverages off of our brand so that a consistent identity continues to be enhanced and maintained. The signage for three locations enhance the beauty of the store and bring improvements to the shopping area. Frontage signage - as you will see from the following examples of other nearby MOR Stores. The signage height is integral to our national branding.

Response: Increasing the signage creates no impact or injury to the neighborhood, but simply provides enhanced visibility for awareness.
