2 Activities Onsite at Lemore Manor There are a host of activities which may keep you and your guests entertained at Lemore Manor during your stay. From a frightful Murder Mystery to relaxing art classes, we can source and organise it for you. Please find below, details of what we can provide and accommodate on-site for your stay. If you can t quite find the activity you are looking for, please let us know and we ll do our best to source it for you and get a competitive quote. Please let us know of any special requirements you may have. Murder Mystery Evening Treachery, Decadence, Jealousy and Lust and that s just for starters! Whether a fun filled night of thrilling entertainment or a more sedate evening of intricate investigation; we offer a wide variety of exciting murder mysteries that will cater for all tastes. Themes vary and allow guests to dress up as they play along e.g Wild West, James Bond, Gangsters, Christmas, Hollywood and many more. Approximately 3 hours Lemore Treasure Hunt Exploration, teambuilding and fun combine as you search the Manor and Grounds with questions to answer and codes to crack as you hunt down the legendary LOST GOLD OF LEMORE!! Be wary though as strange characters abound. But are they there to help or hinder you?? Working as a team you must undertake intriguing activities, solve obscure puzzles and locate strange objects in your quest for success! Approximately 3 hours Archery Join our professional bowman as he teaches you the ancient art of archery. How to tie a bow, how to aim and how to use correctly the bow and arrow. The sessions can be a half day or full day, all equipment supplied and in groups of up to 15 people, 3 shooting at a time. Painting Classes Having worked closely with renowned artist Paul Priestly, we can offer you a truly unique experience, painting with the guidance of a Master of his trade. Workshops can be themed, creating masterpieces influenced by Andy Warhol, Picasso, or under the eye of Salvador Dali himself. Workshops are custom-made, all materials and equipment provided. Activities Local to Lemore Manor Being in such an enviable location, Lemore Manor has a wealth of activities that can be embarked on, in the areas around the village of Eardisley. There are areas for clay pigeon shooting, pottery, go-karting and many more things to send you crazy with the decision-making.

Horse Riding Whether it is a relaxing trek through the Black Mountains or a heart-racing hack through the wild countryside we can organise it for you. Most ages catered for and abilities, safety clothing provided. Please don t wear jeans or trainers. Shoes with a slight heel are to be warn with comfortable clothing. Please contact us for a quote. Krypton Challenge Minimum age 7, at least 8 in the group, 2 hours. Orienteering Minimum of 4 in a group, allow 2.5 to 3 hours Caving Minimum of 4 in group Gorge Walking Minimum of 8, half day. Evening Entertainment Having had many years experience over-seeing a variety of events, we know only too well what works well and is a success at Lemore Manor. From a delightful dinner, to an evening of mystery with a magician and dancing.

Things to see and do whilst you are staying at Lemore. The Black and White Village Trail is a circular, clockwise meander of about 40 miles, that takes in some of the most unspoilt villages and churches of North-West

5 Herefordshire. Many of the buildings go back to Domesday and beyond. A start to the Trail can be from Leominster, although it is possible to join at any point as the route is well signed. From Leominster follow the A44 to Dilwyn and on to Weobley. Through Weobley the A4112 to Brecon takes you to Sarnsfield and on to Kinnersley, onwards and turn right onto the A4111to Eardisley. After Eardisley follow the 4111 towards Kington, then on the roundabout follow the A44 to Leominster that takes you to Lyonshall. After Lyonshall turn right back onto the A44 which takes you to see The Kings House at Pembridge, where you may wish to stop and take refreshment! After making new friends in Pembridge follow on the A44 to Eardisland, and turn right to Burton Court. After Eardisland continue for four miles back to Leominster. During the route you will pass through the market towns of Leominster and Kington. Both offer unique charm and wonderful local amenities to the visitor plenty of curiosity shops to browse in and a local market held once a week. Leominster also has a thriving farmers market on the first Sunday of every month. You will also pass through Eardisland a very pretty village, Weobley famed for its crooked medieval buildings and Pembridge with the old market square and bell tower. Why not stop for morning coffee and cheese tasting at Monkland Cheese or maybe a spot of cider tasting at Dunkertons cidermill. Add the other villages on the route, Dilwyn, Kingland and Kinnersley and you will have completed the Black and White Trail. 6 Gardens: Hergest Croft: Four distinct gardens over 50 acres with over 4000 rare shrubs and trees. The Weir Garden: a National Trust garden of 10 acres by the river Wye. Flowering bulbs in springtime and autumnal colour The Judges Lodge, Presteigne: Visit house of Victorian Judges, includes damp cells and vast courtroom! Lady Hawkins community Leisure Centre: football fitness classes, in Kington squash courts, tennis, Small Breeds Farm Park Largest collection of owls well worth a visit! Walks: Please respect our countryside, keeping gates left as you find them and do not alarm farm animals. Stick to the paths for walking as stated on the ordinance survey maps. We have copies of these in our study at Lemore for guests to use. Holywell Dingle is a nature reserve located next to Lemore Manor.

7 This is a narrow, steep sided, wooded valley cut deeply in underlying Old Red Sandstone rocks. Holywell Brook follows a narrow winding course through the dingle and if you are lucky you may see a crayfish! The whole area is full of wildlife and plants waiting to be discovered. This route forms the start of a lovely walk to the village of Eardisley about 1.5 miles away and The Tram Inn. The Brecon Beacons and Offa s Dyke are on your doorstep plus lots of walking around the villages nearby. Visit Hay on Wye or historic Ludlow good food/pubs, a castle, and special events. HR6 9NR Telephone Health and Fitness Suite Lemore Manor has membership for the Cloud Nine health and fitness suite, at the Burton Hotel in Kington. This is just 10 per person, per day Golf Kington, The Herefordshire, Belmont-Hereford, Leominster, these courses are all within easy reach of Lemore Manor. New Inn (**) Pembridge Food's okay with large portions, service is always friendly, but the building is wonderful 17th century and the beer is good too. Red Lion (*) Pembridge Red Lion (**) Weobley Reasonable pub grub with friendly service a joy compared to the Salutation where the service is poor and the food takes an age to arrive. Riverside Inn (**) Aymestry Lovely restaurant on the banks of the River Lugg. Good food we think. Near Wheely Wonderful Cycling if you wanted to combine activitiy and lunching.
