2 WE ADDED 400 MEMBERS IN 2016 WITH YOUR SUPPORT LETS DOUBLE THAT IN 2018
3 PARTNERI WITH THE CDTC Supporting CDTC through corporate sponsorship directly involves you in our annual activities, programs, and events, and supports many of the highest priorities for the CDT. Partnering with CDTC is an annual commitment that highlights your understanding of the CDT s significance and a commitment to the grassroots community responsible for the Trail s stewardship, protection and completion. The CDT is a nationally significant resource that inspires pride, passion, respect, creativity, community and perseverance. Our work protects the Trail s wealth of natural and scenic resources, builds a sense of community, promotes public lands stewardship, inspires healthy lifestyles, and above all, encourages people to know, use and care for the CDT. In 2018 CDTC doubled our membership and our over 200 volunteers contributed 52,600 volunteer hours valued at $1.24 Million. In 2018 your financial and/or in-kind support will help us: Implement our 2017 Strategic Plan Engage more designated Gateway Communities along the CDT Expand our reach as we invite a broader and more diverse public to experience the CDT Advocate for our Public lands on a local, regional, and national level Build a large grassroots volunteer effort to adopt, maintain and blaze the CDT from Mexico to Canada Build and maintain long term innovative, creative and collaborative partnerships to benefit the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail. 4 CHAI FACES OF PUBLIC LANDS As part of our vision for the CDT, we are working to build congressional allies, partnerships with outdoor retailer partners and on the ground program and projects that engage a broad diverse, new generation of public land users and volunteers. Your support will help us accomplish the following: Co-host the 2017 Colorado Round-table on diversity with the NEXT100 Coalition With our partners at CityWILD and Denver ELK program, host a stewardship event to engage inner city Denver youth as CDT volunteers.
