PRTIIPNT SFTY SYSTM & OVRH TRKING efore each participant ventures onto the course, they are properly outfitted with a full body harness and a redundant sling line. This redundant sling line is secured into a continuous belay overhead tracking system on every course, which prohibits participants from ever disconnecting themselves from the attraction. t the ground level, a certified operator appropriately hooks and unhooks participants into the safety system to further the safety of participants. The overhead tracking system grants participants the ability to move about the course in any direction they so choose and the safety system allows participants to self-rescue, step back on the element and continue on their adventure. INSTLLTION, TRINING & INSPTIONS INSTLLTION Ropes ourses, Inc. offers 2 installation options for customers in order for both parties to be in compliance with the following: merican Steel onstruction Manual, merican Welding Society 11 Weld odes, merican Society of ivil ngineers 7 Minimum esign Loads, and the International uilding odes for General onstruction. The first option is a Ropes ourses, Inc. installation team that can fully execute all points of installation and equipment procurement on-site. The second option is to hire a Ropes ourses, Inc. installation team leader to guide the customer s crew through the installation process from start to finish, and the customer provides their own equipment. In either case, all structures must pass the initial inspection review by Ropes ourses, Inc. ngineering. TRINING To ensure the attraction is operated in a secure and responsible manner, operator training must be performed and subsequently completed. current certified operator trainer or Ropes ourses, Inc. instructor must efficiently train all course operators preceding the opening of a course. The operator training session spans 2-4 days depending on course specifications. Trainees gain knowledge concerning pre-use inspections for the structure as well as safety equipment, procedures for properly outfitting participants, how to monitor activity on the course and how to preserve a high level of safety. Operators are required to attend annual training to maintain certification as it further promotes our company s focus on safety with regards to the operation of our adventure products. Ropes ourses, Inc. also offers training for your staff to become certified operator trainers and this certification lasts for 3 years. INSPTIONS aily inspections of the structure and all safety equipment must be completed by a certified Ropes ourses, Inc. operator and/or trained maintenance staff prior to participants being allowed on the course. The daily inspection consists of a visual inspection of the course structure and tactile inspection of all the safety equipment. n annual audit of each Ropes ourses, Inc. product is imperative if they are to meet the safety and regulatory driven requirements of the manufacturer. certified Ropes ourses, Inc. inspector performs the annual audit and meticulously checks the entire structure, its elements and equipment as well as reviews all of the required documentation for the daily, quarterly and annual operation. The audit is then reviewed at Ropes ourses, Inc. to determine compliance with manufacturer requirements. fter a passing audit the course is granted a certification sticker.
