Event Calendar **See Attached Sheets** Presidents Corner Hello everyone, I would like to say thanks to all who helped make our fathers day fly in a success. It turned out to be a good day, maybe a little hot but with the breeze it wasn t too bad. Don t forget about the next event coming up this month, Randy s imac challenge. This two day event is July 21 & 22. Hope for good weather and see you there. I should have the hellcat done this week and hope to have it out to the field soon. 2 continued from page 1 Meeting Notes Minutes from the June 11, 2018 Meeting. Meeting was called to order at 7: members were in attendance. Minutes from the May meeting were read and approved. The treasurer s report for May was given and approved. May expenses were utilities, postage, and web site expenses. June bills are utilities, a new light fixture, and field maintenance expenses. Motion passed to pay the bills. OLD BUSINESS A possible lawn fabric for a runway for the electric flying area was checked out and determined to be too thin to use. We will continue with plans to use the carpet pieces which were previously purchased. The jacks that were possible for the club house leveling turned out to be too long to use. NEW BUSINESS Welcome our new member Jason Schad Motion passed to hold the meetings at the flying field for the next two months. An I-MAC event will be held at the field on the 21 st and 22 nd of July. The event is open to all classes of pilots. Contact Randy at or randybrunette@gmail.com if you are interested. Randy is looking for a scribe to assist with record keeping during the event. Meeting adjourned at 7:25 pm.
