The 1 st term is always very busy in terms of cricket fixtures. The 1 st XI played in the Grey festival before school began and played 5 tough fixtures. Our 1 st XI is a young and inexperienced team and this season is going to be a challenging one for them. The U15s also played in a pre-season festival and showed good promise. Our U14 boys showed talent in their opening fixtures. WATERPOLO: Woodridge hosted the National U14 interprovincial tournament in the December 2012 holidays and it went off very well. Amongst other things, it was very good publicity for the school. Our boys and girls fixtures officially began this week and we look forward to some exciting games. SWIMMING: Congratulations to Charne de Jager, Christine Boswell and Amica de Jager who recently represented EP at a gala in Oudtshoorn and did particularly well.
